Precursor feat.

Hey. I finished reading all Forerunner saga books a while ago, but I am bit hazy on Precursor’s strength. I know how powerful Star roads are, capable of withstanding black hole and super nova iirc.
Can anyone give me the quotes from each novel showing Precursor/Flood strength?
I am kinda lazy to look for them myself. :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t have the quotes, but I can give you the general idea.

Star roads could effectively shut out other things from entering slipspace by overloading the amount of passage slipspace could handle.

Star roads could disable entire fleets of Forerunners, rendering them helpless as the Flood moved in for the kill.

The Precursors themselves, we know very little of as far as personal abilities. Their abilities are best represented through what their artifacts (I.E. primarily Star Roads) and the Flood could achieve; apparantly the Flood could somehow utilize Precursor artifacts, as the artifacts all started to revive when the Flood went on the most brutal offensive they ever went on against the Forerunners, essentially hunting down entire fleets.

The Forerunners, at the height of their empire, inhabited millions of planets. That is billions upon billions of potential forerunner lives, many of which had armor skins that allowed them to live well beyond a human lifespan and gave them plenty of strength and abilities.

And yet the Flood conquered both them and humanity. What does that say of the Flood’s strength when it’s not testing you, but going on full offensive? Nothing except a Halo array can stop it.

Definitely brutal. Given that they ARE Precursors in another form.

Exactly, the Flood are the Precursors in a more, demented form. After the Forerunners almost completely destroyed the Precursors, some “Withered away into dust” to which was found by humans and used on pets, etc, etc. The Flood in terms of having to rank them against precursors is tricky since the Flood can not essentially “create” but only absorb. They are the same but very different.
