Hey guys if you know me at all then you know I am always looking for new Easter eggs. Well what I found was an image hidden under a forge gadget in Reach. The image appears to be an arthropod similar to a Sea Scorpian or Horseshoe crab. If you are familiar with cannon this is the discription of some Precursor anatomy. Unfortunatly I am able to post the image, because fileshares are not updating at this time. If you would like to see it you will have to look me up on the X Box and look at my fileshare. I wonder if this is a hint at things to come.

The image is my most recent file share entry the title is similar to,‘Precursor Arthropod head easter egg.’ It was found under a vehicle gavlift on Penance in a triforce pattern. Penance is a 343 map, not Bungie.

If you mean Bungie fileshare, Its not in use but it may update with Bungie’s backdoor support for their service record, Wait a bit in the Network Status Screen and a code will appear, But I think that’s only for armor and emblems. 343 is not supporting Fileshare for Halo Reach and I doubt they do.
You can take a picture of your screen with a camera or something and host it on imageshack.us and then give us the link to it that way. It may be unclear, but at least we could get an idea.
As for it being a Precursor… I’m not too sure about that. Reach was made years ago, long before Bungie had any idea where 343i was planning on taking Halo. I’d be interested in looking at what you’re seeing though.

The Precursors were first mentioned in the Bestiarium made by Bungie and before working on Reach they toyed with the idea of making Halo 4. I’m sure they would have had some ideas.

Chances are, the Precursors have always existed. As in, since Halo CE. Maybe they weren’t fleshed out, but they definitely existed.

The Precursors are a race of beings created by 343 Industries. Halo: Reach was made by Bungie and it is highly unlikely that they would share such delicate information to make an easter egg…
Chances are, you’ve just discovered one of these: A Texture Join.
The Precursor from Cryptum/Primordium was a Gravemind, bear in mind that the Flood is a parasitic race that can change the physical appearance of those it infects, chances are this “sea scorpion” appearance wasn’t even the creatures true appearance.
