Title says it all, the maps are huge and the uneven distribution of precision and power weapons equates to some pretty low quality boring gameplay. I understand that 343 are trying to “balance” the game but they’ve shown that doesn’t work when it’s been tried in halo reach MCC for example. A more balanced game is one where everyone has precision spawns, you can back that fact up by looking at Halo Reach and Halo 3 BTB.
BTB is currently just shambles, basically just really boring team slayer on a massive map, everyone always has very low kills because the gameplay is so slow. I really think making BR spawns would help to fix this.
It’s not about going and picking one up, it’s about the entire game dragging on and being overall unbalanced because 1/3 of all players will pick one up. I have over 100k kills in Reach BTB and it’s really obvious that infinite BTB just doesn’t cut it, even when they made Reach BTB in MCC have AR starts it was obvious it just wasn’t as fun or balanced.
Not to mention the only good one is the BR, the rest are not that great.
Why not? Works fine in 8v8 and the maps are massive, you won’t have 12 people burying you down just like you didn’t have 8 people bursting you down in Reach or H3 BTB.

I keep seeing “People will camp back at the base and shoot across the map like the other Halo games” but it’s just not the case. If you sat back and started hiding on the classic Reach maps, you would be spawn killed. The only map I found this slightly annoying on was Wayont but the shields above the base being removed would have solved it.
This BTB is super boring and flat in compared to Reach’s BTB. Every single game plays the same and I just don’t care about the games outcome. Hopefully they make Ranked BTB and give us the classic formula.
