The weapon tuning is set to drop June 3rd, and we have already heard a lot about it and seen some of the effects during the live stream.
My question is what precision weapon do you roll with right now, and what weapon do you think you’ll roll with most once the Weapon Tuning drops?
I am currently a BR and DMR user, but will most likely switch to Carbine. The Carbine is my favorite weapon, but it is kind of weak and constantly outperformed by other weapons in it’s current stage.
Although I use and love the BR, I’m actually most excited about the Carbine. That gun was my BFF during the ODST campaign, which was my first Halo, and I’m really looking forward to being able to compete with it in War Games at long last.

I know, right? The DMR is immensely boring. That lame single-shot. Powerful, but I want that triple-shot BR, those bright orange trails from the LR, or the rapid-fire of the Carbine!

I LOVED ODST! Carbine was DEFINITELY an amazing weapon to pick up while wandering through the streets of New Mombasa.
Do you guys remember when Pro player Ninja said that the Carbine was absolute GARBAGE and that he would never pick it up? I was very surprised when the Bulletin revealed that he had grown to really like it after the weapon-tuning.

It also feels a big generic as well, and it’s basically just BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG, rinse and repeat. The Carbine’s gonna be awesome too.

I loved ODST, probably my favorite Campaign and Firefight was amazing…
I’m sure one weapon will still be slightly better than the others, but not enough to make a noticeable difference this time. I’ll probably use that one anyway.
Not sure about updating weapons all the time I feel it’s taking away the skill factor of halo instead of thinking before going into a battle because your gun might not match up you can just run in now because they will all be the same. Why not just change it to dmr and pistol for load outs and the only time u get different weapons is with ordinance

The problem is the DMR is too strong. There is no reason to pick a different weapon because the DMR wins in nearly every scenario.
Probably Battle Rifle or Carbine. Not sure yet but I’ll vote for the BR for this poll. I abused the DMR when I started playing Halo 4 because it felt stronger but now I find it boring. Even the Light Rifle is starting to bore me now too.
