Well it’s more a problem that goes this way.The Locus pre-order helmet is the helmet in question and I am well aware of the steps to unlock it via the king of the hill app. That being said me and my wife were unaware of the preorder nor at the liberty to use it. Same goes with the king of the hill app game unlock method. We paid for 2 copies of the halo 4 game preorder 1 at gamestop and paid cash next day for the next day at the same location. neither of us had a device to support the king of the hill app or a 7/11 anywhere near us.
What i am basically hoping to find out is uh …is there a way i can purchase or unlock 2 of said helmet for me and my wife to each have for our spartans or at the very least for her as a gift from me because she is also a Gears of War fan so the helmet brings that resemblance to the Locust enemy characters just dropping the t
The main problem you face is getting the helmets themselves without getting redundant copies of the game. Otherwise I would suggest getting GoTY edition.
I would look into eBay. Usually they are pretty expensive though.

The GOTY edition comes with all pre order and exclusive DLC armour except for the Fotus armour which was included with the LE console. All the armour uses DLC code that unlocks all the content.

If you two play halo on the same console, you only need one code for it.
I have all the dlc armors and my girlfriend has none, but she is still able to use them when we play. And maybe when she plays alone. Not sure why this happens.

It happens because when one account downloads something, the purchase licence for it is registered to the console it was purchased on. As long as the content remains on the console it was purchased from, every XBL account on that console can use the content.
i got the gamestop preorder camo the same way but she cant use it. we started out on separate systems but now share 1 thanks to the red of death (again) and my arcade games i bought force me to be logged in if she wants to play them. thats why i am so apprehensive about just going and buying a bunch of stuff. i mean i am crazy not stupid.
I came back to pass on the knowledge that I have confirmed 100% without a doubt that by purchasing GOTY edition you get access to all LIMITED EDITION content including and not limited to the Deadeye and Locus variant found selling on ebay for
$20 and up a piece and yes it lets my wife use said content as well with out my sign in
