Pre order Content Ideas?

Well Since Halo 4 is still in its developmental stage, I think If you preorder, you could get a code to Play as the original Mark VI armor from halo 2/3.

But the MkVI in Halo 2 is different compared to the Halo 3 MkVI, but it would be cool

I wouldn’t mind if they added some preorder armors like you recommended, but if they do then they need to make the GRD helmet one of them.

I would LOVE to see The MRk.V helmet in there.

The only difference with halo 2/3 mc is the armor color and the damage it sustained

Yep. Something on armor and maybe early or free access to dlc.

> The only difference with halo 2/3 mc is the armor color and the damage it sustained

No, the hand/feet armor is different, the helmet has subtle differences, the knees are different, and just about all the details are different

i would like to see the halo ce helmet in there like it did in halo 3 i did not like the way it looked in reach am i the only one ?

The MkV helmet did look wierd in Reach, but the Master at Arms symbol on the sides was a nice touch.

I don’t like the look of it in Reach that much either but I still use it anyways :stuck_out_tongue:

I think there should be something even more special if you get on the game between like 12-3 AM so people that went to the midnight got special things :> because I always go to Halo midnight launches and order the biggest baddest edition they have.

All of which can be attributed to increases in graphical capabilities.

Let’s not do this again…Pre-order incentives are basically the “First one’s free!” of the games industry. Denying content to people who don’t buy the game Day 1 is hurting your future sales market.

Also, I find it kinda trashy. It’s like the developers don’t trust the game will sell well, so they throw this bonus in for people who pledge their money early. It looks like they’re saying “PLEASE BUY OUR GAME”, like they know it isn’t all that great, and won’t sell past Day 1 sales.

I’m not saying Halo 4 will be bad or 343 is getting desperate. But it’s something very “glam” that has no class to it whatsoever. I’ve always thought of Halo as a class act, and seeing the pre-order incentives for Reach was the first telltale sign I had of Bungie selling out.

And no, I didn’t really think the Grunt Funeral skull should have been held at pre-order ransom either. I pre-ordered the game, and I still think that skull should have been for everybody.

Sounds a bit like me and the Security helmet. Loved the Halo 3 one, thought the Reach one was a hideous abomination, but wear it in memory of the Halo 3 one.

I am not a huge fan of pre-order incentives either. I will be very happy with my new Halo console(need a new one anyway) and what ever comes in the Legendary bundle.

Pre-order bonus should be Mk. VI armor.
GRD should be the Recon of Halo 4.
Mk. VIII should be the default.

And please- no reach crap. Don’t make a bunch of useless/ugly shoulders, make sets of armor.

Okay, let me explain this too you how Bungie would have:

Pre-order bonuses are fun. It’s your own fault you didn’t pre-order it when it came out, .

Skulls shouldn’t be a part of the pre-order bonuses, solely because it screws around with the LASO community.

The problem becomes when some company takes it too far and denies an advertised or wanted section of the game to those who didn’t pre-order. Catwoman in Arkham City, anyone?

Most pre-order incentives are harmless and fun, but creating them opens the doors to very dark places developers (Or slimy publishers) could go to secure those precious pre-order numbers.

This, I love this idea.
