It sucks, but maybe its something they’ll implement at a later date (maybe for one playlist).
Actually you do have a rank, there’s a progression system AND a hidden skill-based system.

it is confirmed…343 are doing a livestream right now and just confirmed it
I am very dissapointed about this, this game will last as long as Reach.
Still, I will buy this game for the fact that it still has more replayability than any other game I could buy.
I am glad certain people are not buying the game, or going to stop playing sooner. All they did was ruin halo 3 ranked game play so I could care less.
