I was wondering what the Pr-Order bonus from Best Buy was if anyone knows yet I was looking on google and could not find anything. I Pre-Ordered it from Best Buy so im just curious.

I really hope there are no preorder bonuses… the way they were done with Halo 4 where there is a different one per location was awful. If there is a preorder bonus, let it please be one for every retailer.
I agree on that part, there should only be one set of what type of bonuses we get for preordering Halo 5 and if they go that way then they should let us take a vote on what the preorder bonuses should be.
Preorder bonuses are awful; I hope there are none for Halo 5. The way they were handled with Halo 4 was just… unspeakable. Exclusive digital content in general that can never be unlocked or purchased later isn’t good. Unfortunately, that seems to be the way we’re going…

I agreed, I loathed that, the one helmet I wanted, I couldn’t get because I was stuck getting it at Game stop.

You and me bro. I really hated having to search for the pre order bonus around… But this is the game industry 99.9% sure there will be pre order bonuses.

There probably will be… I’m oaky with that as long as it isn’t retailer specific. I just want one uniform pre-order bonus. I’m okay with them having different bonuses per different versions of the game i.e a Limited/Legendary edition copy of Halo 5 has a different bonus as the standard edition. If they keep it simple, I’ll be happy.

Agreed, ugh, that was terrible!
I downloaded that app and it was such a waste of time! Spent forever trying to find locations only for it not to work. -_____-
I really hope that 343i makes one pre-order bonus. It is a mess how they handled Halo 4’s.
On topic, it is a little to early to talk about pre-order bonuses. E3 might showcase something, but not sure if it will be pre-order bonuses.

I completely agree with what you are saying, retailers are just offering specific preordering bonuses just to get the edge of others in preorders. While they seem completely fine with it, for gamers who buy the games it’s not.
Being denied access to a piece of armor because of what country one lives in is a terrible idea.
I’d much rather have universal bonuses across ALL retailers, no natter the name or the region. By that, I’m referring to getting awarded for simply preordering the game, not being awarded for preordering the game in let’s say, New Zealand.
If there’s a preorder bonus, I say it should be something worth it, and not retailer specific like Halo 4’s.
Maybe 343i/Microsoft should do something cool like having 2 or 3 complete armor unlocks of your choosing, so you could say unlock a MK V Helmet, ODST shoulders, Recruit legs, and MK VI Chest. As well as a good percentage off of either a DLC pass (If they do one, if they do, it shouldn’t be limited to just the three DLCs/planned DLCs, it should be ANY DLC.) or a single DLC purchase of any DLC.
Also, if they do a Digital preorder “WHICH THEY SHOULD!” they should do it like EA does their preorders (in away), allow people who preorder digitally to preload the game 24 to 12 hours before the release date, then allow them to play the game lets say 4 or 6 hours before midnight their time. EA does something similar, but I don’t think it’s based off of location, I think it’s just they allow you to play when it’s midnight on the East Coast of the US, which is great for people who live on the West Coast of the US, cause we can play a new EA game hours before anyone who goes to a launch party.
I also would LOVE it if they either enclude a free copy of the sound track as a preorder OR as something in the limited Edition.
Just as a note, Limited and/or Legendary (If they do have one again) Editions should have the same preorder bonus as the normal edition.
