On 360 Reach, i had the recon helmet. Now with backwards compatability, it is gone. Can i get it back?

If not go to the store, search for halo, and then download it.
Glitches in the system, not cool. But always check the store to see if the problem is fixed with the free dlc they sometimes offer.

Yes you can, press the menu button on the Halo Reach Window mini screen on the Xbox one dashboard and press “Manage Game”, all DLC that was licensed to you should be available for download.
start on the game go to manage game and it should be a ready to install dlc at the side of the game
