Pre-order Armor Skins Theory

I have noticed that it says when you pre-order halo 4, you get a certain skin corresponding to that store. What about limited edition? I checked all sites, and it is only required that you pre-order the normal version to get the skins. This leads me to believe that with the limited edition, you will get ALL the skins. This is just a theory, and if it can be proven wrong, then please state the fact with the source. For now, we can only hope.

Sorry, but all specifications of the LE have already been released. You can find the LE bonuses at game retailer websites. The LE does not include any armor skins. It does include a skin for the Assault Rifle, however.

EDIT: Apologies, I missed the bullet point where it mentions an armor skin. Still, getting all pre-order bonuses is highly unlikely. The only reason retailer specific bonuses are being given for this game is for sales. Each retailer offering a pre-order bonus is most likely paying for the rights to that specific bonus so that they can boost their own sales. They’ll attract the customer who likes their unique bonus the best.

Umm… Yeah, it does have a Spartan skin. Read again…

Above is correct. It says and I quote, “Unique in-game Spartan IV armor skin” that implies one skin, but is not limited to one.

Gamestop has their bonus skin for limited aswell

I hope I’ll enjoy whatever comes with the Limited Edition.

I did notice that gamestop includes it with limited, but that does not neccasarily prove anything. If anything it proves that limited will include all, they just can’t say that yet. But all the other sites don’t include it for limited as far as I saw. So so far, this is still possible =)

Or maybe the pre-order information is letting you all know your going to be getting the unique armor set to the retailer you pre-order at…

All I am saying that it is a possibility. Some of us like to have everything we can. Especially completionists. I am just saying this is possible to proven impossible.

This is still possible. Can anyone find any proof against it?

I’m saving up for legendary because i’m a halo fan boy and i’m sure there will be some nice goodies included.

I’m pretty sure there won’t be a legendary edition. Only limited.

There is no Legendary Edition for Halo 4. This has already been confirmed by 343i, stated in a Bulletin, and accepted by the Community as a whole. However, this does not rule out a post-release special edition Xbox Console from being released, which could include bonuses such as a copy of the Limited Edition game instead of the regular edition.

While it is possible for that, I doubt it because 343i stated that they want to try and keep it simple. Regular or limited. It is possible though. But on topic, do you think it is likely that the limited edition will include all skins or not?

The limited edition will only include the skins from the specific retailer you buy it from. The individual retailers buy rights to have their own. Personally, I’m looking at Best Buy since I like that one best. There may be an exclusive LE skin from 343i, but that’s the only other possibility that I see. It looks like you will have to trade codes with people if you want them all. (I know you aren’t supposed to, but who hasn’t, just on another website? I don’t think it matters unless you do it on here.)
