Pre Game Player Names

I find it a bit strange that in Halo 5’s pregame lobby you can not see who is going to be playing. All is see is a grid of avatar pictures, no names, no skill level ranks, nothing. If someone is talking I can’t see who it is.

I want to be able to see the player names, ranks, and if players are in a party etc… Just seeing little avatar pictures is a bit silly and a poor oversight.

343 thinks this prevents quitting. It doesn’t.

The pregame lobby from the beta was better.

Highly unfortunate. Really wish they would change it to something closer to what was in Reach.

I just wish I could see ranks and be able to mute annoying people right off the bat.

As it is, I normally just open up a solo party chat so I don’t have to deal with annoying people on the mic, so really, it’s doing the exact opposite of what 343 wants out of it.

343i should put back in a proper lobby system. They did an alright job with Halo 4’s lobby in my opinion, and they can do the same with Halo 5. I think something like Reach’s lobby would be ideal though.

Known issue and I believe one of the top 5 but they refuse to change it at this given time saying other more important things need to be released…

I totally agree with everyone. Its not a deal breaker, but annoying enough to be a bit of a pain.

Loads of times someone is having an argument in the background, or pumping some god awful music and I can’t mute them in the lobby.

I can’t see if I’m commiing up against a full team of players in a party (I don’t quit, but it would be nice to be prepared for a hard game).

Nor can I see the ranks of the players that I’m coming up against. Can’t even see their gamertags, for all I know I could be playing some XBL friends …

Like someone mentioned before, I think most of the other Halo games had a good solid pregame lobby system, H5 does not. Won’t stop me playing, but adds to the list of things that the game should improve on.
