Finally, not a fan of scrolling all the way to the bottom, and I’d bet that’s a majority.

Yes, how pathetic of 343 to listen to player feedback. Nobody wanted this change to happen quickly.

Them fixing the bare minimum should not be praised. Everything you listed should have been in the game at launch. The way they called it a ‘beta’ is a joke.

Well it technically was a base - new content or not. They weren’t lying in that respect.

On the other hand, they reached out for massive feedback, made a game on that feedback, during a pandemic when everyone was working from home.
That last one alone created massive time restraints which of course, is not the studios decision. Of course they wanted to do something big for the community…so they let us play some of what they had.
Yes we could have waited, after peeps complain about waiting…just be happy…enjoy what you have…it’ll get better and better and better, and you get to watch it all unfold into a new world wonder!

Much as I would love to play slayer and swat, there still isn’t any real reason to play those gametypes, due to the fact that progression is basically pointless, challenges still funnel you into specific playlists, etc. If they were ranked, they’d at least have a purpose. But right now, the only reason to play those gametypes is to avoid objective gametypes, which I would LOVE to do but all my challenges are for objectives, so.
I’m glad some people are happy with the new playlists, and it is a baby step in the right direction. But we’re talking about a AAA company that’s had six years to work on this game, and it is giant strides away from where it should have been on release. Baby steps toward the bare minimum is just making people get burned out.

Yes, I also believe it was a mistake to leave XP Progression out of the game however, I’m still having fun with what I have and, just gives me more time to practice.

Ok, so we should continue to complain about it when 343 does get them in?
it would be nice have control over it on a per player basis. id personally want btb at the top and bot bootcamp and ranked at the bottom. but I think I may be in the minority for despising ranked and whatnot. really I just want swat to be commando pistol starts rather than the BR. never really liked halo 2 or 3s swat.
When they release a game that has just as much or more features than the last at launch, yes. Its really telling how this game has 6 years of development behind it and the only functional thing is the store
