Seriously, the new maps are BEAUTIFUL. They’re so visually stunning in fact that they could almost be mistaken for being made with an updated engine, no joke. All the little details, shine and polish are really, really appreciated and I think it’s safe to say that it all bodes very well indeed for the aesthetics of Halo 4.
Well done guys on the stellar work. I can’t wait to finally play on the new maps.

343 is better than Bungie in my opinion, at least as of now.
My personal opinion of Bungie at this moment is based on what they did since Halo 3 in mid-to-late 2008. I have frankly frowned upon a number of their decisions since then. Halo: Reach really put the icing on the cake in terms of my negative feelings towards them.
Just from observing the amazing and beautiful things 343 is doing, I can honestly say that they are surpassing my expectations beyond where Bungie ever has.
I truly teared up when I got online to view all of the Halo Fest news and video. I would like to thank 343 from the bottom of my heart for listening to all the feedback, improving what you now hold in your hands, and gracefully yet efficiently moving the Halo franchise forward in ways Bungie or, in that case, any other game developer could.
It’s a shame Bungie’s Reach didn’t do it for you - I friggin’ love it myself.
