I’d like to see a practice arena implemented. It would be kind of like the Forge, only we would be able to design and practice against our own encounters of enemies found throughout the campaign, entirely adjustable scenarios and perhaps even full enemy customization based on the standard difficulty scale (speeding up enemy reflexes/behavior, enabling skulls would be cool). Having a literal arena, using the existing levels as templates, or letting us choose and cut out what precisely what part of what level to play with would be expected I suppose.
I’d like to see a gametype/playlist that has:
An infinite timer so the game goes on continuously, letting players join and quit at their leisure (unless everyone quits, then it would end and a new one would start up once players joined in a lobby).
No stats recorded.
An arena style map, for getting your shot warmed up.
Possibly different games for different weapons (one for BRs, one for ARs etc…)

This was so awesome about Firefight in Reach. You could customize what weapons you started with. Custom Firefight was probably one of the best things about Reach.
Didn’t care much for Spartan Ops. Hated the lag and wasn’t interested in the story whatsoever.

That’s an interesting idea.
We could call it “Running Riot” and could see how long we can keep the game going with people dropping in and playing it.
You could tie it into Spartan Ops for maps (well probably not as the Lag in Co-Op play absolutely sucks) and then have wave after wave of Covenant or ForeRunner enemies drop in - only to be rebuffed by Spartans.

That would be pretty cool. As far as the map goes, I would say an Octagon map. That way you can warm up and improve your aim as well.
