Powerwash Simulator has more players than Infinite on Xbox

Every last one of those games fixed their problems within months though. Infinite has been out for almost a year and its been very slow coming not to mention both battlefront 2 and no mans sky have very minimal player bases. warzone? Well warzone is cod and theyve been big for a long time but ya know what they didnt try to do they didnt try and reinvent call of duty they just went back to their roots again. Ya know what else, they released a buggy as hell but actual complete game one more thing. They didnt make it as a full live service model. Because while fortnite has done well on it cod doesnt with they way they release weapons. And every thing you noted as improvemnts for halo is stuff that should have already been there to even begin with.

Honestly why do we have to wait on it outside of their neglegence its not consumers faults that this game was released the way it was. But the average consumer now doesnt seem to understand that just slapping some game modes into a game isnt going to bring it back. Its lost its relevant nature. when they turned their back on the fan base they turned their back on those who would keep talking about the game when features came back.

Also putting a battle royal in halo isnt going to save it think about how many other battle royals are out there that work perfectly. 343 doesnt have a track record of getting it right the first time so with that knowledge and the fact that most of the already big name games have these modes. No halo needs to keep its originality to stay relevent, to just conform to another game gives players the ability to say the other battle royal is better and they should play there instead. Not to mention when you make a battle royal remember warzone and how hard the cheating alone almost killed that games playerbase. Do we really trust pc again after all of that?

I got my own idea for a game. Napping Simulator. You watch your character nap on a couch. You get bonus points if you don’t set an alarm and turn your phone on airplane mode so you won’t be disturbed. Should be a big hit on GamePass.

Ok neat but it took them how long to actually release that darn game mode like ive legit had this game uninstalled since January and this is the first im hearing about it come on. It gives me absolutely no hope for this game

WRONG! MCC has plenty of stuff 343 can add, plus MCC , unlike Infinite is now what is called “Good Game design”. Yeah it took a truck load of time to get there but it happened. If any game needs to be cut off, it’s Infinite. 343 should kill Infinite support after Forge launches, go back to updating MCC, and start a NEW Halo project, one that DOESN’T focus around microtransactions.

Yeah, like button mapping for controller.

The definition of missing the point.

You don’t seem to get the issue. It’s been 7 months and 343 has done essentially nothing to build the game up from the gutter that it fell in. We’ve only received 3 maps (3 months ago) since launch, which was 8 months ago.

Aside from all the low effort armor they keep trying to sell, that’s essentially it. Adding modes that have been withheld from the playerbase, that being gametypes that were present in previous Halo games, is not new content.

They haven’t done anything meaningful in 8 months, why should we have hope they’ll deliver absolutely anything? The stuff we’re asking for doesn’t take months or YEARS to make. Companies make entire games in the time it’s taken 343 to make some of the most basic crap. Co-op, for example.

BREAKING GAMER NEWS REPORT!

Due to a lack of player count in Halo Infinite and the success of Indie game “Powerwash Simulator”, 343 Industries has decided to copy that form of gameplay into a new playlist in Halo Infinite! The new upcoming “Washout” Playlist will feature the Super-Soaker from Halo Cursed Edition and players will have to clean the map while pushing each other out of bounds for points!

(Obvious satire, given the fact that 343 is known to copy gameplay trends in order to try ot steal players from another franchise - >see Halo 4< -)

It would take them two years at least of development time to copy a trend, and they’d drop it poorly

Hence why I mentioned Halo 4.
“Hey, we should make Halo more like Call of Duty to try and get more players!”
“Yeah, what’s the worst that can happen?”

*Halo 4 proceeds to have a peak of 420,000 players online, the lowest peak player population the franchise ever had, and then over the course of two months stays below 100,000 players online; causing 343 to scrap development of two years worth of DLC Map and Armor Packs and convert Seasons 2 and 3 of Spartan-Ops into comic book form in Halo: Escalations, which went from 6 issues to 24 issues. Ultimately, the population stagnates to remain no more than around ~20,000 online daily for the remainder of six months of the first year being live.

Here is the population chart numbers.

Medic has been possible for a while now. The only achievement that doesn’t work is “headmaster.” They broke it with the season 2 update.

Nah - i don’t think I missed it at all.

Please tell me the point.

Oh, no, people play other games

You still don’t understand. The point of the post is that Halo is in such a poor state that the simple arrival of a “new” game onto game pass is enough to make it drop in the leaderboard.

It’s embarrassing that Halo has such a crap playbase that a power washing simulator game was able to reach more players, regardless of how good it is. Did you see that happen with Destiny, COD, Warzone, Fortnite, Apex, Forza, etc?

The whole point of bringing it up is that the player base is so pitiful that the few people who played power washing simulator was enough to envelope the entire playerbase of Halo Infinite on Xbox. I guarantee a majority of the Halo playerbase hadn’t even considered touching that game so your whole idea that “people play other games” is an irrelevant argument.

More people are interested in playing power washing simulator than picking up and playing Halo Infinite. NOT people dropping Halo for the powerwash simulator.

It’s hilarious I have to spell it out to you.

It’s even funnier that you took the time to spell it all out.

I obviously understand the point of the original post. Ridiulous.

My point is that the player base for Power Washing simulator is going to drop dramatically soon. People will forget it even existed.

I get it. I am just so tired of all of the complaining about everything. I know there is a lot to complain about but, man, who cares about other games.

Noone here cares about power washing specifically, its just pathetic that in the modern day that power washing is able to surpass Halo in popularity

I know. I know.

I do get the point. I guess I’m getting tired of the player base complaining about the player base. If I was just getting into Halo and decided to visit the forums, I’d stop playing.

I do think we’re all on the same page. I’m just in a mood.

I understand. I really want to like this game and I’m drawn to it because Halo was my first love in video games. I so so so desperately want this game to work, but I can’t see it succeeding at being a live-service game.

Theres been maybe a couple of brief moments that almost resemble something potentially live-service, but the majority of the 8 months of life in this game have been worse than a static Halo game.

I just want them to fix this game, quit being greedy, and stop doing the things noone asked them to (BR). Lag and desync are the worst out of any other game that I currently play, and theres so many missing features.

Halo TRASHfinite is what I can call a disaster in the making. 6+ years of development plus a $500 million budget only for it to be abysmal all around? LOL! Indie developers have made MUCH better games with less than 1% of TRASHfinite’s development budget. I currently don’t know of any games that went with a 10 year plan and succeeded at being actually decent and playable games. TRASHfinite will NOT survive 10 years for sure.

TRASHfinite has gotten little in the way of new content in its 8 months of existence. Meanwhile H5 got a LOT more content in that same timespan starting from its launch.

And as Big_Daddy_Nero said, it’s pathetic that it takes 343 too much time to add basic features and content people ask for - by the time 343 even finishes a new feature, another company will have made an entire game in that timespan.

I don’t see exactly why my original post has aggrevated you so much nor do I see how my opinion was deceptive.

I was simply adding to a conversation.

Let’s agree to stop this back and forth though maybe. We both agree the player base is low.

Murder Miners is a shining example of that.
