Why is the SAW not a power weapon? They could give it decreased ammo if they’re worried about balancing. (like shotty) Actually I don’t see the SAW in arena at all.

I think it would just be too easy to use. Same reason why we don’t see guns like the beam rifle as power weapons. Anyone who has decent enough aim can just spray you down with ease. All of the power weapons seen in arena at least require some ability to “master” them. Even the rocket launcher is useless in the hands of someone who doesn’t use it correctly.
What guns aren’t power weapons? Just curious.
Beam rifle, binary rifle, spartan laser and SAW I believe. The first two because they are more user friendly than the sniper and the spartan laser because there are no vehicles in ranked arena.
I need to use the saw for the commendations. I may have one or two kills, if that.
I dunno. I’ve been gunned down by an AR while rocking Appetite for Destruction (1v1 in a cave on Apex 7, he got the first shot, but only by a fraction of a second). I’m not terrible at the game, and I was pretty pissed about how that went down. The SAW isn’t any more power than the Sniper Rifle in the right hands.

Not necessarily true. Fuel rod cannon, and rocket launcher, anybody can get kills with those.
