Power Ups!

I saw in some gameplay from E3 I think and when you have gotten enough points and get your personal ordinance drop it gives you the option of two power weapons and a power up. The ones I saw were Speed Boost, Over Sheild, Damage Boost. Now I bet that there are more, but my question how will this fit into the Halo 4 sandbox as far as the speed boost and damage boost are concerned. Post thoughts below.

I believe the only way to get power ups is through ordinance drops.
But they may be pick ups around the maps.

Speed is pretty cool if you are good at strafing and aim.
Overshields seemed buffed.
Damage boost doesnt seem to OP.

Speed boost speeds you up (Movement and reloading, not firing speed tho) and damage boost adds a slight boost to your current weapons, it will be noticeable in some weapons and not in others, also you don’t get power weapons from ordinance drops, sometimes you do and sometimes you don’t, some times it’s a needler and sometimes it’s grenades.

Needler is a power weapon now.
You always get the choice of 1 power weapon, 1 grenade type, and 1 power-up.

We don’t know if there are more. However, to answer your question, Speed and Damage boosts are definetly viable options.

Speed gives you faster movement speed and reloading. This can help you strafe from enemy fire much better, and can keep the downtime to a very small timeframe. It appears from the vids that you move as fast as a person in Sprint, except now you can shoot. Pair it up with a secondary weapon, that also have very fast reload speeds, and you can keep the bullets going.

Damage makes your weapons stronger, and makes your power weapons even more powerful. I heard a sniper with this power up can take anyone down in 1 shot, regardless of where you shoot them in. Want the BR to be a 4-shot like in Halo 2? Use it.

However, they all have their own visuals showing off what they got. Speed is blue, and Damage is red. You see them, be careful.

(Personally, I’d like to know if they can be combined with the Overshield and make a player act as a Juggernaut in a Team Slayer match. That would be crazy.)

If you got a damage boost and within that 30 seconds or w/e you earn another ordinance drop and get overshield.
Well then, that person definently earned it.

Hopefully camo and OV are available as a nutrition ordnance drop and not a personal one …

Camo as a spawnable AA is a terrible idea.

camo sucks now though, you have to be so much more stealthy and you can get an idea of where they are because of the jammer
