Just a quick thing that struck me while watching some gameplay - how commonly do powerups like overshields appear on the various maps? I’ve seen them in use on one map so far, does anyone happen to know if they’ll feature on any more maps?

It looks so far that each map has it, excluding the Warzone, and breakout maps.

I believe they did say they will be in Warzone, but they will be available through REQ packs.

If you watch any Warzone gameplay, you’ll notice that when a base is captured, the announcer (Jennifer Hale), says that the base can now be used to get “vehicles, weapons and power ups”.
I wonder what new power ups they will bring to the table.
Hopefully there is new types of power ups.

To be fair, there is only so much you can do with regards to power ups. I think having them on every map might be a tad overkill. They should be a bit more rare than that, so they’re always something special.

In Warzone? As long as powerups can’t be obtained after every life, I’ll be good. I think as long as their balanced they will be fine in Warzone
They have active camo on The arena map the rig but a player has to shoot it to get it to drop down

That was from Ready Up Live’s footage I believe.
I watched the Halo tournament they had in Europe and on Empire and The Rig the overshield spawned every minute (pretty positive on the time). It was an MLG tourney and it was like a week ago or so? It is on the Halo Channel. So I figure they will be about the same in arena, maybe boost it by a little for non MLG play though. But yes req cards are supposed to include powerups. idk how much I like it but I mean I guess it works. Gotta try it to find out.
Idk I’ve never liked the looks of camo or over shield in Halo 4 and Halo 5. Plus with forge you can’t use them in any unique way now.
I’m pretty sure they are in Warzone just because of what Palmer says when you take over a base
