Im personally loving infection and I have no complaints about any of the maps except this one. I think everyone knows why but those of u who don’t I’ll tell you.
there is a corridor at the bottom of the arena which u can block of one way to it with a crate that is down there, once that happens it becomes nearly impossible for the infected to get to anyone down there. As soon as the match starts, at least 6 of the 10 survivors rush down there, the best option for the infected is to try and pick off a few of them before they get down there, otherwise, u may as well just give up.
I know that the crate can be moved by the infected but it’s very difficult when there’s 4 people on the other side pushing it back.
To make things worse, there is a gauss turret down there which is perfect for picking off infected from across the hall.
Im not saying this because I’m salty, I’ve been on both ends of these situations and I always feel that whichever side I’m on the match gets boring and dull.
i don’t know if the map was designed to make that possible or it was just a mistake, but i think the best option is to remove that crate or the entire map from the playlist.

I totally agree with you, this needs to be addressed.

It’s awesome that it’s there. You just need competent zombies. I’ve killed everyone that was hiding down there by myself as an alpha. It’s not impossible, just be a bit unpredictable and not charge them straight on. (No radar helps as well)

The problem is the hallway makes it so that your only option is to change them straight on.

I’m trying some new and different thing so mainly switching the sides of the crate but don’t worry the issue is being looked into although countering the gauss turret is easy if you use thrusts

Yea theres always rockets hydra camping down there. It is really annoying how its hard for the infected.

I hope they tweak this mode as a whole cause it’s a cool social mode and it deserves to be balanced abit more not just given to use to tick other box and left.

Trusting 343 here.

They should move some of the weapons outside of the room down there like the gauss turrent or CE pistol

The main issue with the bottom hallway isn’t the crate so much that as an Alpha Infected you have to race to get your first 1 or 2 infections before the humans can get their. If the humans get to this hallway first it just becomes a bottleneck.
