what is a pounder assist? how does one “assist in a pounder?”

but what does that mean specifically? is it taking about spartan charge? the spartan ground slam thing? do both people have to do the same thing or does it just mean damaging someone and then another person pounds the person?

ground pound is mid air charge up and hit. spartan charge is run up and trust melee into them. assist is i believe when you help get that kill doing that kinda like EMP assist

I believe you need to do damage to an enemy with a ground pound and then have a teammate finish them off with a ground pound. At least that’s the only time I remember getting them…

I could’ve sworn I got a pounder assist, but the stupid Halo Channel thinks otherwise. I believe what I did to get it was ground pound someone after someone else pounded the same guy but only damaged him, you being the one that finishes him off- or maybe that was just the regular pounder. If so Hchannel has to fix that, but if what I said didn’t work, it’s probably vice versa.
