something akin to the Aszod ship breaking yards from reach could make a good map
Or the multiplayer map Infinity From Halo:CE

That’s be sweet but I honestly doubt anymore content will be added!
343 already released the overtime content release which was the last content release for halo 5.
i’m pretty sure they’re done with new maps for H5… hopefully in h6

I think that’s more for REQ items. Adding or removing maps is similar to adding new gametypes or playlists which they’re still doing. I will agree though that a new Warzone map is unlikely considering you can’t make it in Forge and 343 rely on Forgers for the new maps.

they are not adding or removing game types, they are rotating game types by season or month. It operates on a cycle system. I believe it is automatically programed.

Perhaps you could provide proof by showing the patterns of playlist implementation? I don’t think they do. From what I’ve seen, I think it’s mostly because of community feedback. Numerous people complained about not having a proper Oddball and we got one. A lot of people complained about Assault and I think it got removed from the HCS and TA list. Many wanted the H3 playlist back and it’s now back, but more improved and so on. It’s not automated. Someone has to manually implement the playlists which was revealed in a community update 343 interview by the person who does that job.

Perhaps you could show provide proof by showing us a forum which consists of members voicing their opinion of what the next game type should be, preferably one with or even started by a 343 member, as well as 343 members giving feedback or updates in which the next game type that was selected and would be used? I know for sure there isn’t a forum in the halo 5 forums of waypoint that has been started by a 343 member, had some feedback from a 343 member, or possibly even started by a monitor. If 343 was listening to us then where would they be looking at for the data? I’m only talking about the different selection of gametypes rotation, not about the bugs or problems or improvements. I do stand by my previous claim that they aren’t adding or removing gametypes, but I am not quite sure about the adding part, but they are not removing any, they just aren’t active or available for now.
However you could be correct, and you have intrigued me. You do have a point about the halo 3 throwback. However, if your right that someone manually does the social playlist switching manually based off our requests, its a shame no one is working to fix the shinobi armor. I do have a idea of how things would work if they do work that way, or at least one rule they must follow, no repeats of the previous, as in if they just finished doing this, they have to do something else before doing it again, after all the 343 community playdates can’t just be playing the same game type every play date they do. There are probably a lot more rules to it than just that.
I am interested to see what other contributing posts that you have made in the waypoint forms, I feel like you have a lot to offer to the world IRL, that’s a pretty big compliment I’m giving you, although it might not mean much coming from someone that isn’t important as the rest of the world and that you don’t’ know who I am, but it is a compliment.
It’s probably gonna be an impossibility, but I want a Warzone map set on Requiem or Genesis.

> It’s probably gonna be an impossibility, but I want a Warzone map set on Requiem or Genesis.
Genesis hasn’t been seen by any other humans except Blue team and Fireteam Osiris, so there is no way it would work, Also Requiem was destroyed as in completely annihilated in a big supernova, Infinity barely escaped it’s destruction. I doubt the Infinity or the UNSC would use simulations of deployment areas and places that don’t exist anymore as in destroyed, same thing goes for places no one has ever been or ever been recorded, also mind the fact that warzone maps have human structures in the area such as the garages and armories. And that’s all the canon. For sure we know 343 is done with halo 5 with content updates.
However it would be pretty cool if there was such a thing.

I could post numerous examples of people on the forum including myself asking for gametypes, but I’ll just mainly stick to Assault and 343’s interaction with it as an example. Frankly, I could spend all day searching in threads, community updates and news blogs and then posting them for you, but I don’t feel like this is that big an issue to try and prove a point. I’ll just say that 343 have made numerous posts about looking at community feedback and also making several playlist feedback threads like the one I posted.
You may have issues with it since it’s not a thread about the next gametype rotation and the original Assault was a gametype and not an actual playlist, but I have provided examples that backup my original points which is that they rely on a lot community feedback with adding or removing gametypes. I also answered what seems to be the majority of your questions in your post.
Here is 343 mentioning that they removed the Assault gametype in Team Arena due to player, pro teams and internal testing feedback.
> After weeks of internal testing, feedback from the Team Arena Summer Preview playlist, and multiple rounds of feedback with Pro League teams, we’ve locked on final map layouts as well as map and game type combinations for Team Arena and the HCS Pro League…

> As a note, extensive testing was done with the Assault game type, and at this time it has been determined that the game type could use some extra tuning before being integrated into Pro League play. The multiplayer team will continue working with Pro League teams on feedback and updates for future consideration.

Here is 343 launching a new version of Assault and asking for feedback from it. The link also contains details of feedback they received from the original Assault playlist.
> Today, we’re launching a new Assault Preview playlist that will allow players to get a look at some of the updates that the multiplayer team has been working on. To get you the details, we hand things over to the multiplayer team:

Here is a more general example of 343 commenting on players’ playlist wishes.
> New and returning experience are also on the way – the team has been keeping an eye on feedback regarding playlist wishes, as well as the hunger for the return of Super Fiesta. You can be certain that we’ll be talking more about these in the near future.

Here is 343 asking for what playlist we would want in MCC. Not H5, but it is a thread asking about playlist wishes.
> Hey folks - I know there have been a lot of threads on Waypoint and elsewhere over the years with all manner of feedback and suggestions specifically for MCC’s playlists. While I’ve seen a lot of that (and the team has a pretty extensive ongoing list), I’d still like to rekindle the conversation now that we’re in the process of updating the title.

> So, here’s the question of the week for you - If you could change ONE and ONLY ONE thing with MCC’s playlist offerings, what would you change and why?

Okay, your turn. I should also add that I’m not planning on doing a long back and forth over this since it’s getting off topic.
Edit: I completely forgot until just now which is several hours later, but 343 also used to ask the community for which playlist they wanted to play during the weekends when the game was still new by selecting a few playlists and doing a poll. They did this for some months until it was eventually discontinued. I doubt I’ll be able to find the poll threads since I don’t remember what they were called, but they were mentioned in the community updates which I’ll link one below. This clearly shows that the playlists being implemented even for a weekend were community driven.
> Friday’s weekend playlist update brought with it a top community requested playlist: Doubles. The playlist poll proved Doubles was the clear favorite over the previous winner, Shotty Snipers, which - as it had been the new option the prior week - had been present in the polls once again. Unsurprisingly, Doubles came in at an overwhelming 64% of total votes, which means it was available this past weekend with increased XP rewards.

Who are you and why are you so aggressive towards me? I was only answering a question based of what I know and you just start to disprove me in an insulting and aggressive way. Of course I gave my valid reply based of your hospitality in hoping for you to just not involve me with any more aggressiveness towards me but you just sent me to to the grave. You have only focused on my negative parts instead of the positive parts. I don’t recall anything I have done to you in the past but now I feel threatened by you. The only questions I had were rhetorical ones in response to your’s and didn’t really want a reply, now I feel insecure on waypoint. I feel that if something like this is going to happen when I try to be involved with others in my own knowledge toward the games or discussion, I should not be apart of waypoint anymore.

I wasn’t trying to be insulting or aggressive towards you, but maybe it could’ve come off that way if you weren’t looking to have a discussion. You made some claims about the playlist selection process which made it seem like you knew that’s how they did things, so I was just curious about that and wanted to know how you knew that. Then you asked me to provide proof of my claims and some other things as well, so I figured you wanted to continue the discussion and so I did. I’ll just say to try and avoid doing that if you don’t want to continue discussing things or else it could give someone the wrong impression about your intentions and you’ll end up in a similar situation in the future. I don’t think you should let a misunderstanding stop you from continuing to post on the site. Those things will happen as I’ve been in several myself, but they don’t really outweigh the good discussions.
I can think of a whole bunch of maps from previous Halo’s, but being realistic I can’t wait to see what coming in H6… Suspense!
They really do need more warzone maps there’s hardly any to begin with
Someone at 343 should be fired over blood gulch not being implemented as a warzone map.
I guess that’s an exaggeration, but think about how f’ing sweet that would be!

Ok. I understand, I only think that it’s based of a system due to how I have seen the different game modes repeat. I haven’t dissected the system yet not do I have plans to. I do believe you do have a point about the game types being selected by 343 themselves. I especially understand it based of whatyou I saw with the classic tthrow that was released for halo 3’s anniversary, and then it’s most recent return. Usually when I am asked for any proof or evidence, I mentally take it as a challenge to my beliefs, in which case I start to panic and usually strike back as in a ( oh yeah well ( turn the situation onto the other person)). It’s quite hard to tell other people’s tones in text without any way to tell emotions. As for the system, I’m not sure but if I recall, the game mode switches every month? I am probably wrong. But the possibility that 343 actually collects feedback from players and selects game types based off said feedback is very possible, I may not know how 343 does it but I see it as a system is programmable, which I mean, can be programmed, but there is also room for other methods.
