First off. Spartan Ops is single-handedly one of the details that is making me as hyped as i was for H2. BUT I think it would be good to discuss HOW this new feature is going to be implemented.
I think one thing that i would like to know is how they are going to be available.
-Is it going to be dlc? (free or course but there would be too much memory to handle on one disk)
-It cant be on a seperate disk because it would run the risk of getting hacked and leaked on the net
-Are we going to be able to go back and play them?
-People without hard-drives are probably going to have trouble with this.
-People without xbox live in the first place will too if they have to download it from the marketplace.
I think somebody at 343 said that we will have a bunch of spartan ops to start this. I also thought I heard something about buying Spartan ops missions with spartan points.

The first season anyway, which is supposed to last maybe 4 months. A new op will be unlocked each week with 5 separate objective missions. In the magazines they said the missions will not expire and you can play them as many times as you like.
A second season which may be paid DLC may depend on how popular the first season is.

It can still be dlc and included in the game. Like how cod elite members get access to all the dlc.
i wouldnt get to worried about it yet. Surely, they have thought of everything. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
some excellent, points i myself was thinking about some of these earlier today. i think it will most likely be DLC, which hopefully means it will be free due to it being to expensive otherwise and replayable.
but what if we miss one… say someone went on holiday for a week or so or ended up with a terrible or no connection for a while or even just forget entirely, will they be able to download the ones they have missed out on?
also to what mikaman said about buying them with spartan points i have heard this soemwhere as well, very sneaky method to get players playing all aspects of the game

And most people think that PC games are the only ones who get hit hard with piracy.
I’m looking forward to Spartan Ops, it sounds like the Fire Fight 3.0 to me.
