Potential Armour Cores

So from what we can gather thus far, armour cores are the bodyglove/techsuit of a Spartan. If and how this effects what customisation can be iterated atop each core we do not know, but I was thinking about potential cores;

CONFIRMED CORES:
Mark V - Halo Reach/Spartan III style Core.
Mark VII - Halo Infinite/Spartan IV NEW Core
Yoroi - Samurai/Spartan IV NEW Core
POSSIBLE CORES:
Mark VI GEN 3 - Halo Infinite/Master Chief/Blue Team Armour Core
Mark VI GEN 2 - Halo 4&5/Spartan IV original Core
[With tinted variant]
Mark VI - Halo 2&3/Spartan II armour Core
Mark V - Halo CE/Spartan II armour Core
ODST - ODST armour Core
Anvil - Halo Online/Elite & Spartan collab Core

Oooh. Haven’t thought about Anvil. Maybe Gen 2 Prototype as another name? Since all of Online’s armors are prototypes of what we get in Halo 4/5.

Gen 3 MK IV, mostly based off of the Gen 1 MK IV design because I was never too much of a fan of the Gen 2 MK IV. There’s just something about that armor that screams spartan at me. Of course, I would prefer for such an awesome armor to be a pain in the butt to get but still be possible for players to get without paying real money and without a time limit put on them.

The MARK V is the confirmed core in infinite.

You should take a look at Commander Agryna’s armor. She has an unnamed core, and I want it.

It looks a lot like Mark VI Gen 3, same as Chiefs.

Elite and Brute armor cores. Come on 343 let me be a Monke

Commander Agryna
Master Chief (Infinite)

The armour core is primarily the BODY GLOVE/TECHSUIT, not the actual armour permutations.

Theirs both have a double layered padding under their chest plates. Going by your own images you can see the similarities.

It’s the tech suit, arms, legs, boots, and chest armor. (Not officially stated, but very evident)

Compare all of the mark VII cores with eachother and you’ll see what repeats. That’s the core.

The armored part of the chest is part of it. The customizable part of the chest is an attachment that works with that core, much like how reach customizations were.
This is why it’s theorized that the cores, you won’t see yoroi stuff on a mark v, for example.

I haven’t seen the mark V armor for infinite what does it look like I can’t find it online I seen H5s mark V armor I don’t like it sorry for those who do but I want something more true to the original

Mark V Armor

So by your logic we won’t be able to edit our legs, boots or arms out side of core variation? I highly doubt that.

Find evidence that says otherwise. I’m not the only one who’s come to this conclusion, seen multiple threads opened for this, not just my own.

Any reach helmet variant you’ve seen in Infinite so far has been wearing the Mark V core. There’s a spartan wearing the Mark V helmet in either the multiplayer trailer or the vidoc, and we’ve seen Mark V ‘Zeta’ which is a part of the Mark VII core. (Another bit of supporting evidence that we will not be able to mix VII with V. Why would they make 2 mark v helmets otherwise?)

I wasn’t aware of a MK V core in Halo Infinite, I knew that a MK V (B) core was confirmed, but this is in a way a completely different armor than the classic CE MK V Mjolnir due to its less heavily armored body build and likely downgraded shield levels for Spartan III use while the Spartan II’s got the expensive version. I would personally really enjoy the addition of the classic Halo CE armor. Not the anniversary one because that one looks kind of ugly. But a pure remastered version of the Original CE Armor from 2001, maybe with redone proportions to make the head not look so darn big but other than that its basically the same with better textures. The MK IV is my favorite armor but the MK V will always have a special place in my heart.

I’m just going off of the named cores here. (Scroll to ‘spartan customization’)

I don’t think it was ever officially said to be mark v(b).

No need to explain, its more of a website error than yours, funny how they got the glove name right but not the armor.

well, again they never said or shown that it 's called the mark v(b) for the base armor. Even in Reach it’s just called default for the body, only the helmet is referred to as mark v(b) in game.

That’s true, but due to the noticeable differences in body armor it seems pretty clear that the two armors are different models. It was never given a full name in my knowledge but due to the fact that the helmet that came along with it was called the MK V (B) and the helmet also had noticeable differences from the original MK V helmet I decided to just dub it the MK V (B) armor set.

I think the body is close enough to mark v that it could be written off as a design change, like a lot of things in reach. Either way, I’m glad it’s a core we start off with.
