These were literally mech-suits and not Powered Body Armor

Mark IV is a given and has seen late-stage concept art for armor permutation variants.

Definitely going to happen.

Mark VI Gen-3 will be the one they use hopefully.

You left out the Diselpunk armor we are having next season - Iron Hawk.

What about Meatgrinder? (Gears of War inspired Armor Core)

Here are some of my ideas -

GLADIATOR

Armor Core that is a hybrid of MJOLNIR engineering and Banished design, worn by Spartans that were forced to join the Banished or die in an endless brawl. Armor core would exist in the canon and possibly be unlockable in a Mini-DLC campaign featuring The Banished greatest threat to Master Chief - The Gladiators !

EPIMETHEAN

Alt-Universe where The Didact used the Composer on the UNSC Infinity, and had adverse effects on the Spartans aboard it. As a result, his knew units remained independent yet a hive-mind of connections. The Didact defeated, the Epimetheans now protect the UNSC as something beyond Spartans.
Great place to put the Hellcat, Prefect, and Fotus armor set pieces.

HERESY

Alt-Universe where The Covenant discovered Humanity much earlier. We were assimilated into their ranks. Halo was found. And we learned the truth. The Great Schism still occoured, with Arbiter Thel Vadam’ee and Chiefmaster John spearheading the rebellion.
Armor is inspired by the Helioskrill armor from Halo 5.

HONEYBEE

Whatever Armor Core that Spartan Laurette Agryna is wearing.

HELLJUMPER

ODST Specialized Armor Core, filled with items that are ODST themed.

ONI HUNTER

Armor Core designed to be a Gen-3 rendition of the Hunter Armor from Halo 5 Guardians.

MARK VIII

Armor Core released somewhere down the line

MARK IX

Armor Core released somewhere down the line

MARK X

Armor Core released somewhere down the line

ORION

1999 Inspired Armor with a few variations

RETRO-FUTURE

Armor Core designed to be 1950s Sci-Fi as a fractures joke-set.

I said above that I didn’t know much about the different MJOLNIR armors, I just saw how many different MKs there were and listed them.

All the ideas sound interesting
I would definitely be excited to see the MK. VIII and MK.IX armors and what they would look like.

And that will most likely take 343 the entire 10 year plan to get even half of those out.
At most i see generic themes like knights, samurais (which we already have) and maybe something norse, steampunk is already confirmed by leaks so we know that much about how experimental these will be, very much hoping to see halo 3 armour or something along the lines of those unique halo armours

I like the Heresy and Oni Hunter ideas, i would like to see some armor from Halo 5 return, maybe even a core for it, loved the Hunter and Helioskrill armor in the game.

Some Armor from Halo 4 and Halo 5 is returning.
War Master, Scout, Enforcer, & Ranger helmets for example.

All the armor from every past Halo should return (unless it was extremely hated)
