I like the Heresy and Oni Hunter ideas, i would like to see some armor from Halo 5 return, maybe even a core for it, loved the Hunter and Helioskrill armor in the game.
Some Armor from Halo 4 and Halo 5 is returning.
War Master, Scout, Enforcer, & Ranger helmets for example.
All the armor from every past Halo should return (unless it was extremely hated)
In the case of the extremely hated, heavily modify it to be more agreeable to the current art form.
Somewhat like they have done with the Enforcer Helmet (Top Left, First Row)

Hayabusa was a single piece of armor that had in-lore purposes, but was certainly more outlandish than most of the other content. Halo: Reach didn’t even have Hayabusa I think?
By non-halo armor I simply mean non-canon, didn’t mean to assign a judgement value, my b. Certainly since Reach 343 has gone much further in a more outlandish/non-military direction with a lot of the armor pieces, which I personally dislike.

Hayabusa was a collaboration between Team Ninja and Bungie.
Dead or Alive 4 featured Spartan Nichole as a fighter, and Halo 3 featured an armor set that referenced the Hayabusa Ninja Clan of Ninja Gaiden.
Halo 4 WAS going to have a Hayaubusa armor, but 343 couldn’t get Ninja Gaiden to collaborate again; so they scrapped the fully modeled armor set.

Complete waste to not simply rename it to “Ninja” or “Honor Guard” or “Hanzo” and then still give it to players.

Those christmas items may have been discontinued, maybe we will see the return of them this year given how people took liking to the cat ears, but i feel they were scared to release them due to backlash from the community, as for the rest of those items i do believe they are slated for s2, as they are all modeled but not textured, quite a lot of content slated for the store though which sucks, hopefully that reach armour is for the s2 battlepass and not the store
They were delayed to next year. Not enough space for the Winter Contingency Event Pass for all the items to fit in it seemed.
Oh items like that are not slated for the free track pass pal, those christmas items are going to have a price tag, along with almost everything else in that list

Sad truth.
What 343 SHOULD do instead is just copy what Ghost Recon Breakpoint is doing.
- Erewhon Shop has items that you unlock by spending in-gameworld currency you earn through gameplay
- Secondary Shop offers some cosmetics for IRL money.

That would be too smart and too player friendly for 343, their model seems to be low effort high price tag
Mostly due to delays causing them to pay-back interest on top of what they owe to loan sharks (corporate investors).
Their hands are twisted sadly by the law. It is either get sued for failure to adhere to contract OR be scummy businessmen.
I dont think thats a good way of looking at it, 343 are at complete fault for the state of the game, they wasted a billion dollars and 6 years to play a game of catch up trying to meet halo 3 in terms of content, while also monetizing the game heavily in every single player focused department.
I do believe had this game released in a better state with more content that it would still be rotten to the core with MTX because thats the trend they are currently chasing, 343 is a trend hopper.
First it was cod loadouts and trying to build an esports community like cod.
Then it was loot boxes and releasing unfinished games and an even bigger focus on esports which killed the casual commmunity.
And now its f2p and battlepasses with horrible monetization so they can milk as much money from whales and kids with no concept of money.
Its known that 343 has trouble coming up with their own ideas

Yeah but i still kinda miss the full armor for some of them, pretty good designs for some of them. I like the armor thats currently in the game, but i still miss the unique armor that wasnt just chest accessories. Also liked how some armor, like Copperhead, looked like it was less armor in exchange for quicker movement ( Look at a picture of Osiris team and Blue team side by side and youll see how Chiefs team looks like they have bulkier armor).
