Potential armor cores that should/could come to the game (polls)

First off, I’m gonna state again, CROSSCORE CUSTOMIZATION

Anyway, what armor cores do you want to see added?

All GENs of the MJOLNIR, including all MKs

MK.I
MK.II
MK.III
MK.IIII
MK.V
MK.VI
MK.VII

GEN1
GEN2
GEN3

Also, fractures can include these themed sets

Samurai
Viking
Medieval Knight
Fallout
WW1
Centurion
Barbarian
Legionary
Ninja
Doomsday

What are your guys thoughts?

Honestly I’d rather the armor cores just stay practical and realistic. I really don’t want Halo to turn into Fortnite.

Weren’t Mk 1 and 2 pretty much just mechs like in Halo Legends Prototype? They may be better as vehicles than armours, but then you’re just getting the Cyclops.

I’d like to see Copperhead (Vales armour) come back.

We kind of are getting WW1 with the Iron Eagle armour that’s been shown. Alternate universe where Germany won WW1? Kaiserreich 2558.

If we were talking outright bonkers fractures. An alternate universe where Spartans are like the Vodyani from Endless Space. Digitised humans who exist in an armoured shell.

I don’t know too much about that, lol

What cores did I list that you didn’t think were realistic?

I kind’ve get more fallout from that, but to each his own

I would add that in but you can’t edit polls :frowning:

Just watch, MK. VI will be a premium core XD

It’s already fortnite with the $20 iron man colors and the cat ears

Yeah.
But I don’t get what he means by practical and realistic.

If he means the fractures, we’ve already gone down this road in MCC (Viking, Barbarian, Centurion, demon, ect)
Those armors are really cool in MCC and people love them sooo

we are most likely never going to see Mjolnir Mark I-III in a game, as they are more akin very early prototype mech-suits than the advanced power armor of Mark IV-VII.

also, Mark VII is already in Infinite, it is the default armor core. Mark V is also in the game in a way, as we have Mark V[B] as a usable core. I’d be surprised if we get classic Mark V alongside the Mark V[B] that we already have.

Read please

Like I said above, I don’t know much about the lore of the MK. series, I literally just copy pasted them

Personally I only want to see Mjolnir cores, I already dislike seeing the fractures ones and I’d be even more turned off from this game if they started having crossover cores like fallout. There are plenty of games like fortnite where anything goes, but Halo is made great by its universe and lore.

Maybe relying on selling cosmetics for a decade was just a bad way to release a game?

I mean, they already started doing things like this in MCC and people loved it (at least I did)
Makes my Spartan look even cooler.

To each his own but if you don’t like it, maybe you just aren’t cut out for Halo: Infinite

I really like this idea of being able to add in new amour and overlays for sure! Great poll fellow Spartan.

Lol yes… clearly you have some quality that makes you “cut out” for Halo Infinite, whereas I, with preferences different then your own, must be too weak to handle it.

Remember how the fractures armors in MCC were so controversial that the devs added a toggle so that we could retain a Halo aesthetic without those intrusions?

There’s no need to get toxic, if that’s all you are going to bring to the thread than please leave

And they can totally bring it to Infinite as well but I doubt it will be coming any time soon

Are you joking? Remember when you said “if you don’t like it, maybe you just aren’t cut out for Halo: Infinite.”

All I did was sarcastically point out how ridiculous and rude that is.

To get back to the subject, yes, to each their own. I don’t mind if these armor cores you’ve dreamt up were available, I’d be disappointed if they focused their time and effort on it, but as I said, I wouldn’t mind if you could use them, I just don’t want to see non-Halo armor in Halo. Hence the advantage of toggles!

I’d rather not turn the thread into an argument dude

What is the definition of non-halo armor? Haybusa (probably slaughtered that, lol) has been in Halo almost forever, is that non-halo armor because it looks different?

You can also toggle them off. If they didn’t add a Legacy toggle for Halo 3, I would’ve never played Halo 3 again the instant they added the Medieval armors.
