No, the servers have NOT been fixed. Thus, getting 7 on 7 is practically impossible.

Microsoft/343i, we really NEED these servers fixed and an extension to the server life, PLEASE.

Halo 3 servers are still not fixed, which made it VERY RARE and EXTREMELY DIFFICULT for players to get ‘7 on 7’ on the last possible day to do it EVER. Please, PLEASE fix the legacy servers and postpone the sunset, just for a few months, to let players finish out the game in a reasonable condition.

Again, unfortunately the server condition is precisely why the shutdown needs to happen. Replacement components are next to impossible to find now. We had over a year’s shutdown notice which is pretty much gold standard for the industry.

Again, you’re still missing the point that Microsoft has not delivered on leaving the servers online until the sunset. They announced the sunset, but have not kept the servers maintained and reasonably functional in the meantime. Therefore, even though the servers are still “online”, they haven’t actually been online and even reasonably functional for a very significant portion of the time since the sunset was announced. It’s worth re-iterating that playing multiplayer on these legacy Halo games is still NOT free; a gold membership is still required. Thus, people have come back to the legacy Halo games and paid to play multiplayer to try to get any remaining achievements or finish one last ranked run, only to find the servers often unavailable or with EXP and game tracking broken.

Your logic basically boils down to “Microsoft has let it rot and left it broken, so now they need to take it offline because it’s rotten and broken.”

It’s only fair to the Halo community as well as the achievement hunting community to have a last few months with the legacy Halo games in reasonable condition.

You’re missing my point though… it’s not like they haven’t been trying. The degradation of service has been accelerating due to the technical issues they’re facing.

The very thing behind your complaint is why keeping the servers on is not easy or worthwhile as it would only lead to months’ more frustration and slowly degrading service.

I loaded up my halo 3 disc yesterday, I’m in Australia and couldn’t even connect to the servers, I 100% the game a long time ago, I just wanted wanted to see the old game for nostalgia effects, however I thought the oceanic server were shut down due to the multiple attempts of trying to connect and it not.

It does and doesn’t annoy me. It annoys me because I couldn’t achieve the nostalgia though it doesn’t because it’s an old game, a 360 game and we now have The MCC and Halo infinite.

So if I had to choose. Shut down the old and FIX the issues with MCC (there is so many) and continue working on Infinite. If the man power is limited that would be my choices.

Huge halo lover, halo 3 being my all time. Hence why my halo 3 Xbox 360 is 100% the only thing I couldn’t manage was 50 HS in ranked, highest I got was 48 or 49. I’ll miss those days but great memories!

if lucky, we could get another situation with the Noble 14, the people who stay in a match and let it last a couple days or weeks longer on that server

A delay or change of plans for sunsetting would be much appreciated. It’s a real shame to have these games have thee services shut down.

Agree about this; at the very least, a little more time with the servers would be really, deeply appreciated.

I can’t even save my data on 360 Absolutely dumb yes I did everything it wouldn’t allow me to connect I don’t want everything to be gone

They should extend the server shut down and only have playlist required for thd multplayer achievements. The biggest issue is getting into the correct game nd map at the same time. Or have a way to get this achivements out side or servers.
