This is just a post for players to post cool ideas that they’d like see in Halo Infinite, even if they’re never gonna be added. Just stupid, goofy stuff that makes Halo awesome. I’ll start.
New Weapon
Sangheli Shotgun: The Blam Cannon
Type: Shotgun/Grenade Launcher
Ammo: Blamite (Needles), 24 rounds, consumes 6 per shot
Damage: 1 shot kill, supercombine on 6 needles.
Reload animation: Jiggle the gun for more fun!
Quirks: Travel time on needles at range, can be dodged or repulsed
Alt fire: Hold to fire a blamite grenade that sticks to surfaces and detonates after 1-2 seconds
Ammo: Consumes all remaining ammo
Damage: 1 shot kill, damage drop off away from epicenter, scales with remaining ammo left
Chuck a grunt (mp mode - now that suicide grunts can fly through the air) or BTB chuck a grunt ricochet, pure chaos, mayhem and hysterics

Grunt football. Basically the grunt is an oddball and you have to score him just like in Ricochet.

oh my god, yes
destructible environments and dynamic weather
a breakthrough like mode like in BFV
also, they better bring back warzone
I would love to see all the different grenades make a comback and one new one, the Subanese (needle) Grenade. It exists through the plasma caster in H5, but would love to see it on a grenade belt as a plasma/needle combo.
I would like to see the unused gravity rifle from combat evolved get fleshed out as an actual weapon in infinite. I imagine it having two firing modes. The first one would fire an energy beam that grabs physics objects, and pulls them towards you. (I also like to think that it grab grunts out of the air after being thrown by a brute.) Pressing the fire button again would launch the held object at an enemy. The weapon’s secondary firing mode would fire a projectile that doesn’t do a lot of damage, but instead has a knock back effect that can be used for rocket jumps or pushing enemies around.
5 seater pelican and use it as a troop carrier.
I always thought a mode that blended the FPS mechanics of mainline games with the RTS ones of Halo Wars would be cool. Each team has a commander that plays the match as an RTS - spawning and moving AI units, building bases, calling in artillery strikes, etc. Then each team also has a handful of players playing as Spartans/Elites like an FPS. Would love to play in the epic battles that would come out of something like that.

Yeah I’d like to see warzone come back, but it needs better maps instead of that copy paste stuff they did last time.

We need more Blamite weapons. It darn travesty that we’ve only seen 3 (4 if you count the blood of suban which was just a needle rifle). In fact I had actually thought of the Needle grenade as an alternative if the spike grenade where the needles bounce around (ooooooh what if they tracked any enemies that manage to get pricked with a needle?)

I’d like to see the return of the Void’ Tear, but instead of being a Plasma Pistol skin, I want it to be it’s own unique weapon. It wouldn’t do a lot of damage, but it could for player and even some vehicles to be stuck in place. TF|2 actually has a gravity grenade and you can use it for speed boosts and even curve bullets around.

Definitely sounds like some that could be made in customs at some point. Forgers never cease to impress me.

YOU KNOW OUR MOTTO!
You drop 100 Spartans into a big open world. The only weapons they get are what they find. They kill each other until only 1 remains. DrDisrespect is there.
I call it Spartan Skirmish.

Halo needs more gravity/physics based weapons. Imagine having something like a black hole grenade that can pull objects towards it, before exploding, and sending everything flying in all directions.

As long as we get to drop in with drop pods.

Especially if we have to live with this weak -Yoink- hammer they’ve made…
the way the recent campaign trailer dropped it popped into my head how nice a sort of Nemesis system in this world would go like ranks of banished killing one and other for leadership rolls and the active modifiers they would bring to missions or just roaming the ring world.
would ultimately descend into you having to assassinate them or them coming for your established outposts.
A base building system. I know we’re going to have “FOBs” but it would be cool to actually BUILD our own base.
