Post your halo 5 forge ambitions here

I, as well as many, many other people, are looking forward to halo 5s great looking forge. Since it isn’t to far away (relatively speaking) go ahead and post you ambitions/plans in this thread

i wanna learn forge and make cool maps, been researching forge creation tips for a few days and mapping out ideas, cant wait to start learning and putting things together

redux of hang em high and gephyrophobia

then i will work on some custom maps for crazy game types

I… wait for it…

am…

going to make…

a map!

Wooo been holding that one to myself for a while.

I want to make some good 4v4 maps

Going to remake Chiron and Turf peronally, then some of my Halo 4 maps.

I will probably screw around with forge and try to make a map. I would love to see a playlist that features over 50 remakes. That would be insane.

I kind of want to make a map after one from custom edition. Not quite sure which one yet, but that non the less

I would love to build a BTB Heavies map with Ultra Versions of Covenant vehicles. More than that, I would love to see a flood infestation themed canvas so that I can make an awesome flood hive for infection game modes.

Considering that the December sneak peek showed someone using a classic style rocket launcher on a forged map it could be safe to assume that you can forge with mythic weapons and vehicles…

…god I hope so…

I would probably attempt to remake Construct or Narrows, my favourite Halo 3 maps, after experimenting with my own things first.

Halo 3 had some really, really good maps.

Turf would be great.

I love forge, it’s great, but…
Without a file browser it’s kind of wasted.
There is a lot of debate to be had about which Halo is the best Halo gameplaywise, but the games that were the most “magical” (silly choice of words, I know) in the way of community were H3 and Reach. All because of the file browser, which in my opinion is the biggest difference between Bungie’s Halo and 343’s Halo. User created maps/gametypes meant you always had something to do in Halo. There were always new things for you to try. User created maps/gametypes would get rated and players could check out some truly brilliant game design created by their fellow community members. There were also the screenshots that some would grab from in-game and others would painstakingly create in forge, turning the game into a tool for creating genuine art and sharing it with like-minded strangers. I don’t know, it just seems that “magic” took the game to a whole new level and now that it’s gone you can really feel the loss.
I’m only human, so maybe my feelings are due to nostalgia.

Anyway, I probably won’t use H5’s forge too much myself, but the one thing that would change that is forgeable AI. Being able to create you’re own PVE missions or firefight games would be a complete game changer. How cool would it be to create your own campaign? Imagine being able to download the top rated user created missions made in forge. It would be incredible.

Personally, with forgeable AI I would create “Patrol”-type maps (a la Destiny). It was really the only thing I liked about Destiny. Something about coming home from work and just hunting aliens solo with no concern about getting to the end of the mission or ranking up. So relaxing.

Start with a crash up derby and duck hunt. Easy little mini games to learn about the new forge features in. This is assuming we get KOTH and infection - with appropriate options. Otherwise I’ll just be having a look…

I want to build Valhalla, Lockout, Two Day Z maps, a Hunger Games map, a UNSC Frigate, a city, and an Arena. This is only the beginning.

Phaeton battles.
And basically downloading other peoples Prop Hunt maps to play with friends.

Planning on making a republic commando map pack.
