Post-update disconnections

I just got kicked from 4 Team Arena matches in a row with 3 of them occurring in the first 2 minutes of each game. Heavy lag, spawning multiple times due to lag followed by a message "You have been disconnected from the local network/Your console has lost connection to the game server. I tested my internet throughout and it is working perfectly fine. Been a regular player since March with this happening at most 3 times in the past 8 months. I’ve lost around 100 CSR from this and attempting to keep playing just seems like a waste if when all of my time and effort is being undone by poor servers/matching/whatever it might be. Just wanted to bring this to 343’s attention.

Any solutions, explanations, comments are appreciated. Thanks.

Update: Attempted to play 3 more games. Managed to complete 1 with slightly less lag…got kicked on the next 2 attempts and am now banned for 4 hours.

Isn’t the update on the 15th?

I’ve only been kicked once today, but some of the servers I’ve played on have made games almost unplayable.

For info, the 200mb update wasn’t a fix for any existing issues, it was simply to increase the data being returned to 343 so they can better track where things are going wrong. There is a thread pinned in support where you can post details of connection or server issues. If you wish to discuss matchmaking bans, you can do so on the ban thread
