Press and hold the button on the front of your console till it shuts off completely. Wait a few minutes and turn it on. Sometimes deleting the local data helps as well.

Tried another one as suggested. Same issue…not authorised and can’t sync

Try logging into your XBL account on a computer to make sure you can get on ok. Then try it on the xbox after a hard restart.
