Just had a game of complete vehicular dominance in which I got 35 Wheelman medals. All the while getting EMP’d and grenades flying every where.
27 Rocket Hog kills and 8 Chain Hog kills.

Haha. They are back alright if your in Ragnarok, Longbow or Vortex. I’ve actually retired to the 4v4 playlists for awhile for a break from them. Big Team is hectic as now but a lot of fun though 
The warthog turret is easily one of the best weapons now.
They are back, but in a different way. I mean, you’re still victim to plasma grenades and EMP charges, but that gun will just tear through enemies.

Yeah that was the thing that caught my attention. I was using Wheelman so EMPs weren’t too bad. But before the update even with that package teams could easily kill a hog because its chain gun sucked. Now if you have the package combine with the Hog’s new kill time players can actually get punished for rushing a vehicle.
I’m glad the dammage has increased. Now we can use them!

Yeah, they reduced the auto-aim and magnetism on it.
