Tea-bagging feels a little clunky
Needler sounds like an SMG not a needler
Controller aim assist is almost non-existent
Power weapon/camo/OS UI timer gotta go
Gravity hammer swing speed is too slow
Drop shield is underpowered
Sniper needs 12 shots, not 8
Respawn time is 8 seconds, should be 4
No complaints about the maps, movement speeds, etc.
BTW this is all coming from a fan that has played every Halo game. 2, 3, 5 were my faves.
I LOVE how you started with “Teabagging feels a little clunky” and i agree drop shields needs to be able to deploy faster especially since you can shoot through it easily and i agree movement speed is fine can just be smoothed out a little.

Also wanted to add in that the projectile speed for the storm rifle is a little slow and OS and active camo need to co-exist on maps. Touching back up on the UI for them and power weapons, everyone will be camping them just like H5.

We’re taking a step in the right direction. Can’t please everyone completely but hoping more flights will change this game for the better.

That’s the heart and soul of Halo though. Control power ups and weapons to slay enemies and score points etc. Control being the optimum word here. Halo is a war game and war isn’t fair, if it was then there’d be no winner. Do whatever it takes to win.

You can control them without a UI timer. Takes more fun to guess when they’re coming back and more skill to memorize them. I’ll admit this will help noobs but everyone is a noob at some point. Learning the maps was much more fun back in the day then being shown where they are.

From what I’ve seen from 343 their intention with the game was for it to be player first. That’s the point behind the AI assisting your Spartan. Newer players won’t know what’s happening and since the multiplayer will be F2P. If they spend each game getting railed by people who know what’s going on and they just have no information then they’ll just leave and go find a more linear game to play.
Newer generation players aren’t interested in figuring out the maps they just want to play. Back in the day they had maybe two or three other games to choose from but now they have hundreds at the click of a button. I promise you they won’t stick around if the game requires too much thinking. Sounds awful but it’s the truth.

You’re not wrong. On a positive note love how the weapon racks randomize. Makes the game feel fresh every time.
