While it is frustrating it and it sucks winning by getting to a thousand points is a legit way to win.
Why do mods allow these same BS posts on a daily basis

If a team is not playing the objective but their own agenda farming kills, the game becomes unplayable for the losing team, whereas if the dominant team were actually playing to destroy the core, the losing team would ether succeed in battling to defend it, or lose and move on to the next game rather than have their time wasted in a spawn-die cycle.

Thank you for your opinion
“In truth yes it’s legit technically speaking, but only by design flaw. The only objective is to get 1000 points.
While I don’t support farming, I think it’s a scumbag tactic, I don’t think this solution is the best. I think a better solution to this problem would involve changing how items work in war zone.
I’m sure everyone has noticed there are no vehicles and weapons on the map by default, because that would mean the req system is irrelevant, but if there were plenty of items such as warthogs or sniper rifles, Spartan lasers and scorpions, then the farmed team would be able to retake control over their base, thus making farming much more difficult to do.
I should note that making arbitrary rules IS NOT THE ANSWER. The solution lies within empowering the players to change the course of battle. Reqs are clearly not enough to do this, because people are not going to spend reqs on a clearly lost cause, thus creating a snowball effect that is worsened by the enemy team willing to spend reqs on a clearly winning cause. Adding default vehicles and weapons in the home base would be just one way of solving the problem.
Another solution to this problem involves changing how the req system works. Everyone is limited to how many reqs they have, which ultimately limits the team on their ability to fight back farmers. If everyone had equal access to req items, this would mean everyone has a chance to fight back, and losing valuable, effective req items would not matter to much more people. The farming team already is spending reqs, so this solution would mostly benefit the ones being farmed.
One last solution I want to talk about involves reworking the map design. There is only one exit route on most maps, which creates a very narrow choke point for farmers to easily make use of map design and farm as much as they would like. If the maps were redesigned so that there are more exit routes than 12 people can manage, that would make farming much, MUCH harder to do, and make farming significantly less prevalent.

The objective is to score 1000 points. Kills give points. Killing to score points is playing the object no matter how butthurt the losing team is

Yes this makes a lot of sense. I would be happy with this.
Just give us a safe room to chill in until the enemy gets bored and blows the core.

Actually love this idea, much better than my solutions haha
343 has already said they are not going to do anything about farming. It’s literally pointless to keep these threads going.

Because fixing the problem would involve spending money, and 343I isn’t about spending money when they don’t think it’s necessary for the community.
If the enemy team is farming kills, grab a scout hog and overshield, take a drive down to the beach, climb a rock, and just take a look at the view

And then get blown up by three scorpions, two banshees, a guy with a Nornfang, a Salenes Lance, and a Twin Jewels of Maethrillian.

oh yeah, i forgot about those
I will support any idea that can bring down farming. I got your back.
(and cue the comments of the farmers defending themselves)
People like you (Creating post about it every 5 minutes) are just as bad as the farmers

True. Wonder how the mods deal without locking up one farming thread every 12 hrs.
Should have a mega thread for farming-think there was one
Anyway farming doesnt really happen for just full teams. Heck even 2-3 good players can make a match their own warzone farm and warzone when j solo q mostly filled with casuals and sometimes just stand around when getting shot at or are oblivious to bases getting taken and thus being x3 capped and accusing other team of farming.
Although i like the guy’s idea of a safe room
The only reason it’s okay is because of it’s design flaw.
If you try to say “the objective is to get 1000 points, and kills give points”, you’re already contradicting the idea of farming. If you’re farming, you’re not in it for the points. If you were, you would destroy bosses or the core and get the immediate 1,000, but you’re deliberately taking the long way.
The only reason you’re farming is for padding their stats, commendations for Achilles, or general enjoyment in ruining the other team.
In Capture the Flag, KOTH, Griball, etc. The goal isn’t to get the max points, it’s just to finish the game with more points than them. By design, I can score one point, and spawn kill the rest of them while carrying the flag, but not putting it in. But that’s still unsportsmanlike. “But I’m winning! I’m doing what the game told me to do!”
It’s unsportsmanship, plain and simple. All you’re doing is looking for reasons to justify it because you know it’s wrong too. That’s why we have a report section for that.
