So I’ve been doing this particular technique for a good half a year now but only now have I had the time to edit some clips together of this ‘new’ superslide technique.
Just a couple things first:
I’d like to say that some of these are highly impractical but they are a fun little challenge to do if you feel like doing something and you’ve got nothing else.
There are a lot of factors that can affect your superslide such as vertical velocity, ramp size, and slide timing.

Nothing’s changed, however, there are some things to notice when trying this yourself.
Most times, especially on your first attempts, you won’t get the speed on the slides that I was in these clips. This is because I’m taking advantage of a bug in the game that occurs when you slide at the bottom of a ramp. This bug amplifies any speed before it, but even more than a regular slide.
The original superslide abused a glitch where sliding would force you onto the ground to give you speed. We since found a way to replicate the same speed, but without abusing a bug (other than the sliding at the bottom of a ramp thing)
This particular method has actually existed since the start of Halo 5 (I went back to unpatched to try it once and it is very easy there.
If you’ve been doing these methods and getting the same distance, good on you. Send me a clip of going from Driveway to Eastgate on Plaza with it

Covering the video several times maybe I understand what you mean. I can make that move, but not at the same speed, so I do not think I’ve ever used the bug. XD

Yeah, it looks like any ordinary thrust-slide tbh. That is, until you start getting the distance and speed from the bug. I’d try practicing it though, might help some day :))
