Movement snap should be your best friend. I’m super rusty because I haven’t played much the last few months, but I think you need to grab an object and hold LT(?) then you can adjust the movement snap increments with left & right on the d-pad (look for movement snap in controls key on the left). You can choose to move objects by various increments such as 0.5/1.0/2.0/4.0 and such, so if you build your entire map on clean intervals like this then everything fits together easily. If you use movement snap properly then you shouldn’t need to use magnets very often. If you’re still learning the new forge then I would recommend watching some forge tutorials on YouTube (only those after 12/8/16 due to massive changes) and try to recreate the things that they discuss. If you want to checkout a huge collection of good prefabs then I would recommend checking out the bookmarks of SoS Darth Algar.

Edit: The smallest movement snap increment is called Z-Fighter, and is the best option IMO for very precise movements.
