Why is there a post daily maximum? The only reason I can think of, is to be a counter-measure.
This counter-measure may work against spam, but I don’t think it is worth it. This maximum just pushes members away from the forums.
If you have someone who wants to explore and post on these forums, than that person expects to post more than a few times, so when he hits the max he becomes annoyed, than gets off the forums. There is a good chance they may not come back.
I understand it may be harder to moderate spam, but the cons outweigh the pros I think.
So that is why I think this should change. An alternative I can think of is simply having more mods, active at various times of the 24 hours.
