I’ve been replaying the Batman: Arkham series lately, and I’m a huge fan of how I can explore the open world to find hidden items and complete side quests after beating the main campaign in those games. I feel like Halo Infinite could benefit from a system like this, especially if there’s audio logs to be discovered across the map(s). I’d love to raid a Banished stronghold and rescue marines without needing to focus on a mission.

Fully agree. I think they should have a New Game+ mode where you can just go wherever you want and choose if you even want to do the story. This will ultimately depend on how repeatable the open world content is though.
This would be a cool idea to have end game content to allow players to have access to more end game unlocks such as more upgrade options and high level gear and customization options. Open world Halo is a fantastic idea and I hope that this leads to expansions later down the road.

I am very excited to see the open world gameplay in the upcoming Halo Infinite. I would love to see a side mission where you can fight the Flood in the new Halo video game.

I agree. I hope there will be an endgame mode where you can just explore Zeta Halo and collect the remaining audio logs and just fights the Banished and help Marines.
i hope the game expand beyond zeta halo which we can fly ( pilot as our sidekick ) and explore through the new planets and discovering new biomes and interact with new and familiar characters. i strongly suggest they implement some sort of quests line with meaningful missions and side quests and i don’t want exploration limited only to finding audio log and terminals and kill this and kill that, this game have endless possibility if it’s done right.

What if we could add additional challenges to missions like a flood outbreak, or extra fortified bases etc. Could bring a new way to make the campaign diverse and harder without having to resort to legendary difficulty.
Guess this just could be skulls actually!
