Uhh ye…this was on the bulletin. 343i have something planned. What do you think it is? Hopefully it’s Halo 2 Anniversary with ORIGINAL HALO 2 MULTIPLAYER up to date on all patches (halo 2 past patches) and just remade in new graphics which look Halo (Unlike Halo 4). Nothing new! A present to the fans so we can visit classic multiplayer one last time before we go to halo 5 multiplayer. Not just a rubbish Halo 4 map-pack/DLC. Halo CEA let me down because it didn’t have original Halo CE multiplayer remade in new graphics!
Halo 2 Anniversary, while optimistic, is way too early. Wait for E3 next year, the game was released in 2004 so it makes sense. Also it says “May or may not involve Great Anvils”. Forge as an anvil for the icon so it’s 99% probably gonna be forge news.

Showing it a year before its release would cause huge hype to no end, it would be a MS curbstomp at this years E3 at the end of their durango confrence to be like “Oh yeah, Halo 2 anniversary…on next generation technology” and show a glimpse of the original trailer and just end. Halo 5 is too early though.
It’s probably something to do with forge in Halo 4…I have my fair share of frustrations with Halo 4 but you seem to post a lot of distaste for this game. Just an observation, not a criticism.

My guess is a HUGE forge update… Or the reveal of Halo 2 Anniversary, with forge!
But most likely the forumer… We’ll likely have to wait for E3 for H2a announcement.

As fantastic as that would be, it’s unlikely that 343 would make H2 Anniversary it’s own multiplayer. They’re better off doing what CEA did and tying it to H4. Spend more time making the multiplayer for 5 great.

I doubt there will ever be a Halo 2 anniversary. Usually anniversary editions are only made for an original. It would be like VW making an anniversary edition mk2 gti. That would be dumb. I’d rather just see Halo 2 re-released as an XBLA game with zero changes and MM fired back up.
It will be forge news hence anvils.
