I noticed how the new Promethean Soldiers are very humanoid looking and I was thinking it would’nt be too much of a stretch to make them playable. I was thinking this could be 343’s version of playable elites. Do you think 343 is planning to do this and would you want them to?

That would actually make a lot of sense. That would be cool yes.
I don’t think it’ll happen, not saying that it wouldn’t be cool, or interesting, just saying it won’t happen.
Well we had the Promethean armor in Halo 4, so this could be the next logical step?
The fact that there is a scaled-down variant, leads me to believe that they could be playable.

You guys are thinking a bit too far into this, it just won’t happen on multiplayer, IF it ever did, it would be a downloadable content addition… my thoughts.
They look awesome
If they have them, it probably wont be an option like previous halos where your either spartan or elite, it will probably depend on the gametype. And then for team color itd be cool if they only changed the orange glow to team color, and the other segments remained metallic/silver.
I wouldn’t throw the possibility right out the window entirely.
But I’d still rather have playable Elites first.

Sangheili, Spartan, and Promethean Invasion with 10v10v10 on super big maps, various objectives scattered throughout that must be completed to gain points?
Your stretching way too far. If 343 wont let us play as elites, i dont think these guys will be playable. Its just a new variant in the game.
Yeah and since MP is canon now I don’t see Spartans training aside enemies anyway so it is unlikely that they will be playable…
It’s not that I don’t like the idea (totally btb addicted so another team for a 3 team btb gametype would be totally welcome) but I just don’t see it happening
