Possibly 3 playable characters?

Though this would be a stretch how awesome would it be if Halo 5 was longer than Halo 2 campaign wise? And there was, wait for it (even though you already read it in the title)…three playable characters!

I think it is safe to assume Master Chief and Locke will both be playable characters. They both have their own squad of spartans (See the cover art they released). Master Chief with presumably Blue team by his side and Locke with… well I don’t know who is with him.

There’s two playable characters right there (safe assumption, but still an assumption)

I made a thread questioning how involved the Arbiter will be, but what if he was also playable? That’d be three playable characters. Would this be epic? Or just confusing? Would you guys like that? Do you think that’s very probable (I actually doubt it myself, but a man can dream)?

A cameo level with the Arbiter would be great… perhaps as the Epilogue or Prologue? And he should definitely narrate certain events that transpire…

Anything’s possible. But I’m starting to have doubts about playable elites as a whole. I mean, I certainly hope that they will be in, but I don’t see it happening even with the apparent focus on Sanghelios. Even if they are playable I highly doubt Arbiter will be because 3 playable characters would be a bit overkill anyway. Unless there is a good story reason behind it I don’t see how an Arbiter level could possibly serve a purpose other than for nostalgia.

Also it isn’t speculation. Both Locke and Chief were confirmed to be playable a while ago.
