Not sure if this has been posted, but i couldn’t find anything.
So after just giving up on some of the SP i just said well fine then and loaded up The Halo Channel. After watching some Terminal videos and Halo Nightfall most of my achievements that i have earned started popping.
Now, what I am assuming is happening for these achievements is that The Halo Channel is not having a problem reading your Achievements list or communicating with the xbox live servers for that matter, So i’m assuming that The Halo Channel is pulling information from MCC, it is then relaying that information to the Xbox live service and then popping your achievements.
I have tested this with 3 people and it seems to work. The only other issue is that it hasn’t popped all of them yet but will update this post as it continues to unlock the ones i have earned so far.
If anyone else can confirm this please post in the comments.

Also note this could take anywhere from 1 to 10 minutes for some of the achievements to pop

I don’t know an actual workaround, but I somehow just got the Rex Sword achievement… When I was playing Assassin’s Creed.
I’m genuinely confused by this game.
I was typing and just as I was about to press “Submit” I unlocked another Halo achievement while playing Assassin’s Creed.
I recorded a video when I saw the achievement, but it doesn’t show it popping up though.

Quick question. Was the twitch stream accessed through The Halo Channel App or just by going to theTwitch App?

Just by going to the Twitch app.

I am slowly unlocking old previously unlocked Halo achievements. Still sitting here on the Twitch app, and every 5 minutes or so i’m just getting achievements I unlocked a day or so ago.

No worries.
Same thing happened yesterday. I played some time online (like 3 hours for a total of 3 matches) and then I started watching some stuff in my apps, maybe twitch, maybe just navigating, and after a while one achievement popped up.
I think there were some similar cases with other games. Some problem with Xbox Live syncing the achievements. There’s a whole support page for it. Which pretty much states
“The Xbox Live service validates the unlocking of achievements and, though rare, delays can occur. Don’t worry – your progress has been recorded and the achievement will be awarded shortly, usually in less than 24 hours.”.
I’m assuming this is applicable here.
Since that’s pretty much the time slot it took for me to get mine.
