i went to best buy to preorder the game today because the raptor skin/dead-eye helmet are too damn -Yoink!- to let by… this is how it works you pay 5$ and the cashier will get some info from you name/address/email… they will send the code to you around the day of the release…
i am planning on not picking up the game and going to game-stop for the camouflage skin…
i dont know if they have a way to tell if i bought the game or not… i am assuming their system will automatically send codes on the day of the release
What do you think will it work… 5$ is a sacrifice i am willing to do.
if you planning on doing this i suggest you come up with fake info the line was long i coudnt think of any… lol

i might work the codes are not inside the game will be sent view email on the release day
when u buy the preorder card they will ask for email that,s how they will send it… IMO they dont have a way to track who bought it or not each preorder card has the same SKU get it !!

I might have to ask around a bit more to make sure that this is legitimate or not.
I’m not saying you’re not trustworthy or anything, but this sounds a bit too good to be true.
Unless they track your preorder purchase and release the code upon purchase.
Eh. My BestBuy usually has leftover codes, which they’d kindly give with no cost.

They, and I , did a similar thing for Gears 3. Put $5 down and they would just email you the code regardless if you paid the rest of the game off. However I read somewhere they were changing it so that you had to purchase the game first.
Either way, this would for Gamestop as well, buy the game. Wait for the email, enter the code and return the unopened game for a full refund. This is assuming of course that you (1) are getting a copy of the game that you intend on opening from another retailer and (2) you can “hold” 59.99 until you return the game for a refund the next day.
huh i thought the code would be printed on the receipt, when i pre ordered at best buy i never gave an email
Just did this the other day. It works! They even told me i dont have to pick the game up. They said i should receive the codes for the skin and helmet on Nov 6th. I also got the Lithograph poster for free just for pre-ordering. Good use of my $5 in my opinion. ^ If you are a Rewardzone member they dont ask for your email cause they have it on file…

IDK… the cashier asked my info she inputed on the screen and gave me the reciept
u might have to go back cause the preorder card says code view email and if they did not ask you u might not get it good luck

go back in with your receipt and talk to a sales associate and ask for it.

^ Yea it should come with one. You can look at it on their website. Its kinda cool. I like it.
