So I had a thought about the Halo 4 Edition Xbox 360 sets. I understand people who bought them want some exclusivity, but perhaps selling them in the Halo Waypoint Store or XBL Marketplace for like $20 would be alright. However, there needs to be a restriction so that you could only choose one of these, and that means that people who bought the Halo 4 Edition 360 would be able to have 2 sets. This way, it still leaves some exclusivity, and that these armors won’t be fully acquired by everyone. Also, not everyone would pay $20 just for some digital armor.
I’d like to hear your opinions on this, especially the people who bought the Halo 4 360’s. This isn’t a whine/cry/QQ thread, so let’s be civil here, okay?
I would like to see some bonus content in the Market Place, except for FOTUS or Prime. Those two are really special, I do not think they should be sold.
I figure they can add armors to the game. Or at least skins. All of those figures coming out in the fall have some sort of downloadable armor with them not on the disc already. However I think the exclusive armors for the differing versions should remain exclusive. The only things that shouldn’t be exclusive are all the preorder bonuses from differing companies. How was someone supposed to buy about 20 different copies of the game from different places just to get all the armor sets?
Mcfarlane should make a Fotus toy and their code be a code to unlock the armor in game, that way your spending $16.99 or $11.99 (Depending where you live). You get a cool figure and the armor. Thats what I hope happens.
No, people who bought the Limited and/or Console editions of the game deserve to keep their exclusive items. I mean, they went and paid a hundred/hundreds of dollars to get their special armour, it would be very unfair if anybody could just shell out 20$ to get it.

I think that when people bought the Halo 4 Edition Xbox 360, they bought it for the Xbox, not the armor itself. If so, that’s pretty sad. I’m not saying Fotus and Recruit Prime should be full-blown released, but perhaps for a very short time (Like a 1 day sale). Perhaps those could cost more or something. Isn’t the Locus set the same thing as Fotus anyway?
I’d love to see new armors, some of which I’d like to see follow a more “traditional” approach to design, and others that are like Venator, etc. I know a lot of people like the more tradition “Chief” look, and I’ve seen a lot of the armor sets describe as a “Power Ranger suit” LOL.
I know some people are opinionated about the Fotus armor, and in a way, I feel the same way. Or maybe they could use Fotus as a prize for those who do well in the upcoming FFA Tournament this summer?

Correct, I’m always amazed at how many codes for DLC armour go on ebay for ridiculous amounts of money.
LOL I don’t see people’s logic in that. Maybe if they had stronger shields or something, but armor is cosmetic. I would maybe pay $20 to download from the XBL Marketplace for an armor set, perhaps even a couple for $20 each, but anything more than $20 each, and I’m not gonna buy. Sure, it’s nice to have some sick armor setup, but not when you gotta file bankruptcy over it LOL.

Locus and FOTUS were never the same. Who would think that.
And trust me, most people bought the console for FOTUS. The console was pretty, but people turned around and sold it online for either more than they bought for, or shaved 50$ off the shelf price.
The point is, I don’t want some guy buying the Prime set easily, my favorite armor.

That whole LR-skin-is-console-exclusive-thing just sucks. If we had some skin, and the console owners had an additonal special one, everything would be fine. But this way, the console just sells better. Cheap!

Pre-orders I wouldn’t mind but limited edition should stay as it was or it wouldn’t be limited if there’s an infinite amount.
