I just finished playing a game of FF and at the end of round 1 I noticed someone already had enough REQ level to spawn a banshee, I couldn’t believe it. The round was double soldiers on Darkstar. After reviewing the theater film (which doesn’t record a player’s REQ level which is pretty dumb), I noticed he got a phaeton assist and phaeton kill medal and managed to get the boss kill medal on the last soldier. By the end of R1 he had 16 kills, but does taking out the phaetons really give you that big of boost in REQ level? I have the film saved.

Ive gotten one from a req level 3 random vehicle before. Ive gotten an ONI wasp from a level 3 random too a few times.

I barely use level 3 random, I never thought it would reach that high. That makes the most sense thanks!
Yes man. In that round, if you shot the two phaetons you get level 3 with just one boss. So if you have level 3, you can get a banshee for next round. Is not very common but yes, you can.
I always try to do this: shot the two bosses from far, once we kill them, I shot super fast the two phaetons if they still alive, so on last hurrah I get the two kills or at least the two phaetons assist, is not that hard level 3 reqs with this strategy. And I run like crazy from that place to the first arsenal, because is the best place if you’re on foot for next round.
