I wouldn’t recommend reading any further unless you have
A. Read the forerunner trilogy
B. Don’t really care about the chance of being surprised about a key character in the upcoming games.

I just finished re-reading for the 3rd time the forerunner trilogy and also listened to Silentium-Rebirth including the extended 5 minutes and after the trial of mendicant bias the IsoDidact(Bornstellar version) decided to keep him alive and buried him in the desert that in combination with these reasons https://forums.halowaypoint.com/yaf_postst214541_Halo-5--The-Ark-Theory.aspx
I can safely say that the once turned rampant AI will have a very prominent role in the remainder of the story.

A little late on this my friend. Mendicant Bias and the Ark have been pretty significant theories for weeks now.

I would love it if Mendicant Bias returned as an antagonist. I’ve wanted this since the Halo 3 terminals
