As many have seen by now, in the pelican, you can make out the date 5-27-2560 on the monitor. This is obviously around the time the game takes place, but what if 343 does what they did with Halo 5? The game was released on October 27 and the Sanghelios missions also took place on October 27. May 27 could be the release date for Halo 6. But why not wait until Fall like all other Halo games have? Maybe in an effort to get away from the competition, they’re releasing this game right before the summertime where people have a lot more free time than in the fall. If they released it in the Fall, they’d have to compete with CoD and Gears, Assassin’s Creed, and all those giant blockbuster games. While we may not know the year, the best guess is 2019, just a little under a year away. If this is right, I think it’ll be confirmed at Gamescom this, which if you don’t know, takes place from August 21 to the 25. Think there’s a connection or am I just pulling this out of my -Yoink-?

Wow nice find. I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the release date they already broke tradition by releasing it a year later so anything is possible
Could be… Although I’m sure if they moved away from fall it wouldn’t be because of competition, it’d be because it’s been a long while since we’ve gotten a core Halo game. I’m still betting on 2020 though.
I’d have guessed if we were under a year away we’d have seen a lot more actual content than just a show off of the new engine. I could be wrong, but I think you’re reading a bit too into it.
5/27 would be really exciting…but they mentioned playtesting/Beta’s, so I’d guess that fall or winter of 2019 is the earliest we’d see it. Maybe 5/27 is the date for the Beta?

I think if the date means something, it might mean this.
Yes I would say at most that would be a Beta start date. Because we were not in anyway given indication this game is coming in 2019 I think that almost means its not coming in 2019.
