Possible reason for scopeless BR.

So I’m sure everybody’s noticed the lack of a scope on the BR in the Halo 5 Teaser (or MA5K as some people claim). The way I see it, there will be no variant of the BR with a scope on. Either scopeless BR or MA5K (also without a scope). I think the reasoning for this would probably be that now that we’re returning to the arena, equal starts, weapons on map type of gameplay, they may still want to keep the DMR in the game and for it to actually be somewhat unique compared to the other precision weapon (i.e. BR) and I believe this would be a scope. If you want to battle enemies that are much further away without having to rely on a sniper which is a much more valuable/rare weapon, you would resort to the DMR. Find it somewhere on the map and start killing.

What do you guys think of this? Would you be okay with this?

I always liked the BR and wouldn’t want to see it have the scope removed since it’s such an iconic weapon of Halo. That would be an interesting twist to Halo multiplayer not having a scope, but we’ll have to see exactly how the game would play if they changed that. I’m not say I wouldn’t like it, but I’m not sure if they should change such a long-standing weapon.

BR will have a scope. If the weapon in the trailer is also the BR (what I believe is not), that means weapon customization.
