Possible PV solution for those who need it.

Well I know that some people think that Prothean (just playin with ya) Promethean Vision is overpowered. I don’t really care but thought of this and that it might please everyone!
I also know that most of the game is pretty much finished and most of the game play changes that people are suggesting cannot and will not be done for this game but for future games I think it would make sense to tweak the ability a bit. Maybe when you activate it your HUD disappears. No Map, No shields, No reticle. It would allow you to be assassinated and be harder for you to aim while using it. Tell me what you think.

I actually think you’re on to something. No HUD would make things a lot more balanced.

I think its fine. You aren’t really supposed to use it more than for 2 seconds.

I would try it out, but it sounds a tad excessive. I would still say reduce its range and slow its recharge time.

Nice idea, though I still think reducing it’s range to that of the motion tracker, increasing the cooldown time, and reducing usage time would be enough. Though I think your change possibly combined with my own would force people to think alot more before using it, which is always a good thing.

well, I think they have already reduced usage time and increased the recharge time. I think your “solution” would really work as well.

I like all the feed back! My idea does seem a little too much now that I think of it, maybe just remove the use of one HUD element? The shorter usage time and longer cooling time already does nerf it enough though. You would have to use it at the right time instead of constantly.

This has been my position on PV the entire time. Disable HUD elements and were golden. It seems only fair to make it so that the guy who can look through solid objects, no longer has eyes in the back of his head with the radar. He does after all have the ability to simply turn around with PV still on and see what’s going on back there. MAYBE leave the reticule but disable HUD is a great way to balance in my opinion.
