I have an idea for a possible new ranking system.
This would sit alongside a more traditional style of ranking system, (the most popular of which seems to be to bring back 1-50).
This would also be per playlist, and not throughout multiplayer.
This would be a number between 1 and 343, (or 777, or whatever number floats your boat).
The way it would work is that you win a game, you get to rank 1, you win a second game you get rank 2 and so on. The catch being that as soon as you lose a game, the tally is reset. You are left with the number that you got to along side your 1-50 rank.
Just imagine, you get to 47 and then lose, you are left with a 47 and have to win 47 games in a row again just to get your rank equal.
Imagine your rank is a 116 and you lose, you then win another 116 games in a row and are playing game 117. Imagine how much more it would mean, and how exciting every game from the on would be.
